I thought of a cool strategy that might help, put 1 detonator on each side(left,right,front) of a car, be by yourself no passangers, drive fast into a group or tank or whatever you want to kill and ditch the car(b4 you do this make sure you had your detonator switch ready b4 you got in the car) then blow up the detonators and wala, a car bomb, time it right, i think you will get a vehicle destroy bonus points(possibly)

I'm actually not that bad at sniping. Just today I got a head shot on a guy that was flying in a plane. And I sniped a dude that was driving a car from across the map. I never really tried no scoping. Really good tutorial!

i like the realisem. if you notice how he leads the target, he is also useing whats called "milldots" which are small dots above, below, left and right of the cinter of the scope. you use milldots to predic your enimes further corrse, in doing so, with any bulet drop, line your scope cinter point up, and use the milldot as a primary center. then just compensate your terrane, location, wind speed, ect. ect...but in this game, you dont worry bout much.

No single game has frustrated me more with sniping than this game. With the lack of an ability to get a one-hit kill without a headshot, combine with bullet drop and travel time, plus the wide-open, hilly nature of the maps that leaves plenty of places to hide from sniper but not many vantage points from which you aren't constantly vulnerable to other snipers, I rarely ever get a single sniper kill each game.

when i snipe on any game i try to be like real sniper get low and in a hedge/brush/trees etc and wait for them to slow down/stop then take the shot i get less kills but get a high shots:kills ratio

Oh yeah for the more advanced part it's because you have to but your thumb horizontal to control the ps3 controller and doesn't feel natrual nor can you perfect your aiming and control.

For the xbox you can rest your hands better on the controller and left thumb vertical in its natrual way so much better control

i would be far more better at this game with a xbox controller !

I have a PS3 and WII and don't understand why you want a xbox but now i understand. MY gaming style is limited from the PS3 controller so when i see the game style and playing of the same game on xbox i see it's more advanced

xbox controller is so much better then the ps3 !!! only the wii controller can match the xbox but not for this game

@joecoolbackinschool I know what your talking about. I think it has to do with the level of stress but it could also be random. Signs of stress could be determined by rate of fire, how the player is moving and/or how much damage the player is taking.

Hey, great tutorial video dude, ir really helped, inspecially the clone trick. But, I thought it was 2 shots for a kill not 1, how come for you it was 1 shot 1 kill, or did your enemies juts have low health?

Thanks, glad it helped. The clone trick has been the most helped to people, which is cool. To answer your question, the enemies were either low in health or I got a headshot on them, which takes only 1 shot.

It mainly works for medium range and long range shots because of the bullet lag that you have to consider in this game.

Yes, if the target is further, than you have to aim a bit more further from the target, but for most shots in any BF game, the clone target works wonders. lol

Nope the scope doesn't move around like in Call of Duty, but the difficulty in sniping is somewhat harder in BF 1943.

Loads of your shots are one shot kills, all mine apart from the headshots are 2 shot kills, any tips on what part of the body to aim for?

Try to aim for the neck on up to the head. That's a guarntee headshot. If your not good enough yet to hit the head, then try to hit the V shape(chest) of the body. Hitting arms/legs won't guarntee you the kill, but only a hit marker.

I have got sick at the sniper class, the shot at 3:50 you did i did about the same distance when he was in a jeep fluke shot i think lol but yeah and another tip for people when one on one with someone just pull out your sword, a rifleman and an infantry bloke wont be able to kill by the time you get close enough to hit them with your sword i get about 5 additional kills a match doing this its very handy :D
