I sang the TTBB version of this in 1995 at Sing Around Nebraska Convention.  The tempo here seems a bit fast, but it was fun to listen to it. Sherri Porterfield is amazing!

Lovely song, beautifully done. My daughter's middle school choir is singing it. The choir is good, but like most middle school choirs, they are short of baritones and basses.

Kids stop fighting over tempo and who sings it better, it's a lovely song and different teachers will have different tempi.

I think this is pretty good.... we're singing this in my choir as well... I personally think the piece sounds better when it's played more slowly. It was hard (for me) to catch the emotion of the song because it went so fast. Also I think the choir sounded a little young, or maybe that was the sound they were going for, I don't know, but the diction sounded a little overdone to me, and mouths I saw were barely even open.
