If Galactus had a soul, and was acting with malice he would be owned by the Penace Stare. The penace stare causes the person to experience all the pain they caused to a person, or people. Galactus devouring worlds is a Holocaust on steroids that would overwhelm even him.
I really wish they had done a better job on the ghost rider comics. The comics are very shallow and focus too much on hicks from southern US... Everything focuses on very short term gags and its way too shallow. The only thing the comic has going for it is the concept. Still only read the first 60 or so chapters. I'm hoping marvel does like they usually do and change the way the story is written soon.
I can't help but notice a resemblance to Placescape: Torment. When Ghost Rider makes Galactus feel the torment of billions of people is very much the same if The Nameless One cast the Symbol of Torment (pretty much the same effect) upon The Transcendent One (voiced by the same man; Tony Jay).

Galactur's soul can be atk by Ghostrider,because Ghostrider works on someone with a bad heart unless that person's actually dead. You can't be dead if you have a soul. Since you all admited that Galactus has a soul he technacally isn't dead which means. Ghosrider knocking down Galactus with a pence glare is accurate.
okay, as a video fpor kids it is okay, but as the story line goes it dont work. Yes Galactus kills people , but the whole basis of his heralds (from the begining) was to go ahead of him and warn the residents to leave. Shuma Gorath one of the most powerful demons could easily defeat him, The Set a elder god could also, Tyrant is powerful enough to make him retreat, Mad Jim Jaspers, Dark Phoenix, Magus, Molecule Man, Dormammu, Count Abyss if Galactus was in his dimension where he is almost Omnipotent, etc.
This cartoon seems based on a John Byrne comic from the early 1980s. But in the comic, it was Dr Strange, not Ghost Rider, who did that. Normally, they could not affect such a powerful being. But the big guy was weak from not eating any planets, having pursued his rebellious herald across a galaxy.

I read the comic; but apparently neither the Marvel writers or the Hulk-a maniacs realize the contradiction; Ghost Rider was not fighting for the Illuminati so to speak but the people of NY and who knows where the Hulk's invading army was going to strike next? well technically, unless its been retconned Galactus was originally a guy from the previous universe who became encased in the cosmic egg and protected by the Phoenix Force when the universe was created anew, and apparently was not alone as the Promial Gods viewed him as one of their own. But so, yes, he should have a soul, although he is a semi-abstract being.

This cartoon seems based on a John Byrne comic from the early 1980s. But in the comic, it was Dr Strange, not Ghost Rider, who did that. Normally, they could not affect such a powerful being. But the big guy was weak from not eating any planets, having pursued his rebellious herald across a galaxy.

@aviles1323 The reason it is possible is because Ghost Rider has unlimited power the only reason he, lets say, loses to someone like Punisher is because the Human host is in control. If the Ghost Rider entity is the one in control then the Ghost Rider has the power of Eternal Vengeance. Galactus has a soul which make him vunerable to Ghost Rider's stare.

Galactus' power is null and void if his glaring weakness is exploited before he has a chance to snap said fingers. Same way Superman is instantly crippled by Kryptonite he can't use his abilities fast enough to get himself out of danger.

@DougMcHead Galactus' soul can't be attacked. Look at the Thanos mini when Thanos asks Adam Warlock with the Soul Ge, if he can dispatch him with the gem. Warlock stated, "I sense no soul in yonder vessel. Galactus must have a spirit similar to Eternity and Death's, beyond the gem's power."
If the Infinity Gem has no power over Galactus' soul, then Ghost Rider has NO shot. Neither does Mephisto, and where do you think Zarathos came from?

I read the comic; but apparently neither the Marvel writers or the Hulk-a maniacs realize the contradiction; Ghost Rider was not fighting for the Illuminati so to speak but the people of NY and who knows where the Hulk's invading army was going to strike next? The Marvel writers had a problem: do they just make GR job to the Hulk like the other heroes or hoax up some BS reason why he does not defeat the Hulk? They choose the latter.

OK i'm going to make this simple for those who say Galactus cannot, should not feel the penance stare....The power cosmic is a universal power, the penance stare is an attribute of AFTER LIFE which in its own right is just as powerful as the power cosmic.....ghost rider says it best "EXPERIENCE the pain of eternal guilt" Galactus on his own cannot feel guilt but through the power of the penance stare he EXPERIENCES the pain.....read the ghostrider comics before commenting

well technically, unless its been retconned Galactus was originally a guy from the previous universe who became encased in the cosmic egg and protected by the Phoenix Force when the universe was created anew, and apparently was not alone as the Promial Gods viewed him as one of their own. But so, yes, he should have a soul, although he is a semi-abstract being.
