  • This is nice! Looks like you have big chances of taking out a gun fighter! (:

  • Lol at your target. the heart is located in my shoulder? nice.

  • u look like a cowboy or indiana jones with the hat. nice throwin.

  • is this a guy or a girl, cause if its a guy, u look gay, if its a girl stop binding over your dont have a butt to show

  • i have a big ricft in my finger bec i throw stuff and use bow an arrow much

  • what kind of knives do you you use to throw?

  • I use many different throwing knives for different manufactures. In this video at the begining I am using Gil Hibben "small, corded throwing knives", and the rest of the video I'm using the Colt now United Cutlery "Triple Threat Thrower" which I like to use a lot.

  • oh yeah, it's not exciting....BS dude, lol that was awesome.

  • Thanks

  • I love this!

    Bravo from another thrower!

    best,

    Gunny

  • Thank you my friend

  • Squall604, you're gaining attention among the serious throwers out here. Please elaborate on your technique or at least post another vid. On the contrary, this video is exciting as heck! Does this style hurt your shoulder at all?

  • I just noticed the last few comments, I only got an email on this one. Thank you as always Houzan for your compliments.

As for the technique, no it does not hurt my shoulder at all, provided I've warmed up properly and with some easy throwing (throw for a couple hours like that yes the shoulder & biceps get sore). Actually they are all full rotation throws as I am throwing & drawing with the handle. Once you have nailed down the distance the throw is actually quite a relaxed movement.

  • The reason for the sideways "step" is that it is a more efficient way of throwing quickly letting the movement start from the left foot to the tip of my right fingers (the throwing arm). Very similar movement to a quick smash in badminton. The drop in stance is a result of alignment of the bodies structure when throwing that quickly and with force. Since the throw is initiated from the base of support, the feet push through the hips to the torso, shoulders, and then the fingers.

  • The centre of gravity lowers to compensate the for being pushed out. If you notice when I do the consecutive throws my stance is very similar to a shooting stance. Now, say if I tried to throw quickly like that with my feet together and a strait body position I would actually fall backwards, as this is not a very stable position. It's not too difficult, as long as you have your distance and relax everything will fall into place naturally.

  • A little long winded, but, I hope it helped a little and made some sense. Have fun throwing. Don't be afraid to experiment, just be aware of the pointy bits, and have fun.

  • ha, amazing! Thanks for the reply. I never thought much to do any warming up, really. Seeing this footage, I'm going to try and add this to my practice once and a while- Drawing and firing quickly from a nuetral position. How long to get to the level you are at?

Also the advice is priceless to those of us without the experience. Make some more vids! You show that I need to work alot harder before I do the same.

  • Well warming up is more like loose easy throws and a little bit of stretching after, just like any activity. The quick draw was actually inspired from the James Coburn character in "The Magnificent Seven" and the throw at the end of "The Warriors". I've been throwing for about five years. I'll be doing more experimenting in the next little while. I might have a few treats in store for future posts.

  • Really thank you for very useful exposition.

I also inspired from the James Coburn character in "The Magnificent Seven"at the time of child.(^_^)

In addition, I look forward to video of your throwing from now on.

    Thank you.

  • Ownage =D

  • These are straight up combat throws. Good stuff. Straight into the target, moving or not, at varying distance. Shows lots of hard work.

  • weird

  • oh my god i actually watched a few minutes of this. I feel dirty. Does htis guy work? Maybe the Mexican Mafia would sponsor this guy......wow...what a waste of 3 minutes of my life....

  • This is very nice "playing". Extremely good entertainment. But then again I think it's the biggest point to impress people with knife throwing. I loved this vid so much that I had to watch it twice.

  • You say irony to someone else, but your[crazyseba666's] throwing is incompetent.

You can not understand about this splendid skill is "the very difficult skill".

As for you, you had better Analyze-self enough "your motive" when you said something to someone else.

And show a example on your video definitely if you say something to someone else in a know-it-all attitude.

I was moved by this video and watched 50 times.

  • You blocked me to hide something, meaning you also feared my replies. Your behaviour has been completely unacceptable and "crazy", because it makes no sence. Do you have any idea how highly educated I am? I've even had discussions with people of our government...I'm part of the elite of this country, which is also the capital of europe.

  • I'm not a bad guy and I'm not trying to prove much. I just wish there was a way to settle this misunderstanding.

But unless you stop this nonesence, you have no right to talk to me, as it will result in pointless and meaningless sayings.

  • If there is a problem, Mr.Squall604 please eliminate my comment freely.

I apologize to polluting your important account.

    However,I say to"Crazyseba666 ".

"The skill is good person" for the world, but there is "a bad person of a head".

"A head is good person" for the world, but there is "the person that the skill is bad".

As for you, the both are bad.

  • "Crazyseba666 ",

1/As for you, there is not communication ability.

2/You cannot hear an opinion of other people calmly.

3/As for you, it is not felt an atmosphere of a place.

4/Your knowledge is superficial in a borrowed thing. And there is personality nothing.

5/When I watch your movement, there is not the state that you learned the skill from your teacher of Bujinkan. In other words, as for you, there is not a qualification to learn from other people.

  • Houzansan, are these really no spins? I can't tell they are going so fast!

  • Throwing of this gentleman is a half spin technique and one spin trowing.

This is the "very advanced skill", and to be great.

I think that I should learn it.

This realize "quick throwing" by opening a foot sideways.

  • Wow! Yes it seems as the stance drops, so does the arm...and quickly too! Half spin can be very distance flexible by moving the grip up and also using wider arch and more power with distance.

Thanks for your reply as always!

  • Awesome.

Your Throwing movement was the most fastest while I watched it until now.

And the hit that it is very correct.

Thank you for a splendid picture.

  • Thank you あなたのコメントを本当にありがとう
