I had a Samsung monitor that broke under the manufactures warranty and they gave me a new one no questions asked at the store. As for TV's all the new plasmas and lcds cost almost as much to fix as buying a new one regardless of the company. Which electronics companies do fix plasmas and lcds for less then the cost outside of the warranty?

They have come down in cost significantly here in Australia. I am undecided about 30 inch screen as i have heard so many comments referring to it simply being "TOO LARGE", and proves inconvenient to work with because of this. *requiring you to move your head in the direction you need! THAT LARGE !..
actually, the dell and apple cinema use the same pane...made by LG(LOLZ).... the 305T is different(samsung proprietary...) and is overall a slightly newer panel. Thus the slight response time improvement. Neither of them can achieve 2560X1600 at anything over 60Hz....which is sortve a shame, because that essentially limits your displayed fps to 60 after v-syncing. Still, getting a game to run at that rez with 60fps average needs a high end video card...

samsungs image quality is tons better than dells, also it depends what country you live in, some dells have sharp some samsung, and the dell monitors are standard, not enhanced versions like this.

This is high resolution, check the dot per inch and what it's native solution before talking shit. Dell's isn't high res.
