Republicans are losing seats everywhere. South Carolina is a backwards state. California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, and most western states do not follow their example. Same goes with the east coast and midwest. The bible belt's always been a thorn in our side; they'll be dealt with soon enough ;->

There is nothing wrong with Christian Exodus's mission at aiming for secession. The American Revolution was started by many Christians to secede. I have seen anything that Christian Exodus wants a theocracy. And remember that secession is all over the place. It is not backward at all, but progressive(in the real meaning, not the modern left-wing way). Individualist secession would be the best way to separate and prevent conflict between atheists, deists, theists, etc.

I don't want to get into the nitty-gritty, but the Russian constitution provides for the separation of church and state just like the American constitution. Actually there are no countries where evangelical christianity or the baptist faith are the state religion. So the only alternative for them I guess would be to secede -oh wait, thats what they are trying to do.
