  • this game project has a good idea! suits well to the devices environment

  • Wow amazing great work done all by your self keep up the great work

  • what is the progam name

  • i got an idea for the card game one

it should be yu gi oh/pokemon

like when your looking at your cards you go into 3rd person view like in pokemon and you have a 3d person oh and maby like skroll left and right to choose your card once you do that you can look at the board from above and click the boxes were you want to move your draon like in the video oh and yea you should potions so like if your dragon or any other creture you have gets weak..just thought :)

  • Battle cards looks awsome. Are you almost done with it?

  • It's going to be a few more months work. I will be releasing the sword fighting game first since I am closer to finished on that. Battlecards is a big project since I not only have to program it but have to model, animate and render dozens of creatures.

  • i am tempted to get it once i get pretty good with 2-D. Can you just use animations from blender?

  • can you have your own special icon with the basic version of unity?

  • Yes. Unity creates and XCode project and you can specify the icon in the "Info.plist" of your project.

  • Yeah i am no where close to unity. You should check out the latest vid i have posted about my game test. it is nothing special, but your tutorial on animations did help

    Thanks

  • do you have to have the unity splash screen in the beginning

  • If you only have the basic version of Unity like I do, then yes, the Unity screen will always show at startup. I don't really see that as being a problem, but if you don't want it you must get the full version which is much more expensive.

  • Unity is expensive wich version did you get?

  • Unity for iPhone is only $600 for the lite version which pretty much does everything one needs, except play videos (for cut scenes, intro cinematics and such). If you are only exporting to iPhone it is a great deal.

  • WOW, THIS LOOKS AWESOME!!!!!!

Tell me please, is this gonna be free?

  • These programs will definitely NOT be free! I have busted my ass working on these and I deserve some compensation. Probably be in the $1.99 to $2.99 price range.

  • Ok, they look very good to me. And how this looks and you say the graphics and everything are not final (I already think they look pretty cool) I will definitely buy them.

    You deserve this! :) 5/5

  • I'd say like 4$ for the card game and like 1 or 2 for the fighting game

  • This is awesome! Be sure to update when you're done so I can buy an Iphone :)

  • THis is really really really awesome, I wish more people made videos like this,

also you give me hope because your like the only really really good iphone programer i know who isnt a huge company

you should make more tutorials on iphone sdk and objective C

  • Simon! Hi it's me... Anonymous I can't tell you here!

  • I think you're onto a winner with Battle Cards, I can imagine it being quite a popular game.

  • nice stuff! Say, is your Star Wars fan film out yet?

  • I will be releasing the Star Wars fan film in May towards the deadline of the Atom films SW Fan Film Challenge. I will let all my subscribers know when it's out for sure!
