Wow. Russias smile at end gave me shivers. And China looks at 0:32-0:36 like he's thinking: "Oh god, this can't be good. He has THAT smile on his face."
this is the first russiaxchina video ive watched, i like it :D
AND since everyone below is talking about china and japan...
im chinese so all ever hear about from my grandma is how japan slaughtered china. my grandpa's sister was killed by them. japan had this apology thing in 1972 but they say its not from the heart. china is still waiting for a true apology so that they could forgive the japanese.but i really REALLY approve of chinaxjapan. because HETALIA = WORLD PEACE
The thing I don't understand is that since the Japanese pretty much slaughtered the Chinese, why do people make fanfics about Japan and China? That may sound completely insensitive, but think about it. This show is supposed to be accurate information of the wars, so why would someone use Japan and China in love, since Japan pretty much kills China in the end????
@wlwlnana AND The Japanese people do not admit they slaughter China. They call the invasion as "help the other Asian countries" SOMETHING like it. I really want to ask foreigners--especially young Japanese--- to stop make the fan videos between China and Japan. As a Chinese who was born and raised up in Nanjing city, I feel extremely disgusting about these shits.
@antinous515 I can understand how you would feel about it, but the thing is, it's only an anime with made up characters. If the people want to make fan videos and pictures and everything, it's sort of how they like it. China could probably take it into their own hands, but it'd probably end up like Korea- which was ridiculous in my opinion, and I'm Korean.
Well, basically my mom&dad's generation were grown up singing Russion songs and hearing japanese slaghter story... and don't even think of mentioning Japan in front of my grandma, or she would weep of sorrow. Chinese really loved Russion music and arts, including me XDDD Even after Russia breaks up with China they still had a big influence in culture.
Anyway, more young people like Japan and less blinded by hatred. But they still likes Russia ^v^
@sephywing "more young people like Japan and less blinded by hatred"? That actually only applies to non-Mainland Chinese (overseas, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore...), the growing "angry youth" in mainland China have all but shown that young ppl are just as anti-Japan as previous generations. Remember the 2007 Fifa cup or the 2008 Beijing Olympics?

I've been working on my history teacher, trying to allow me to show some of these videos and short clips of Hetalia for my European History class. I mean, technically, it all ties in to what we're learning...
If you go to China, people won't shun you for being Russian (at least in Southern China and large cities; I can't speak for the northern countryside).
However, most Chinese people are wary of Japanese people (especially if they're over 60 years old). Because basically Japan slaughtered China in this war a couple decades back. It was bad. Like Holocaust bad.
@xRazzClone Well, you don't have to even mention China. Even my grandma from Indonesia has this sentiment towards the Japanese. (Hey, we're Chinese! What can you ask from her?)
It seems like her mother experienced the Sino-Japanese war by herself. Added by the fact that Japan invade Indonesia later, and the fact that her father was killed brutally by the Japanese army (we're civilian. 100% civilian), can you blame her for it?
@RedxEyesxarexawesome Yeah... But it was scary everywhere around the world... Even though we were Dutch-controlled, at least the Dutch was not as cruel as the Japanese was (Honestly! it was only 3,5 years but the damage they done was incredible. The Dutch has never killed so much people in such a short time!) Your mom told you about it? Whoa,,, is your mom half-Indonesian or something? Not lots of people are interested in us....
@RedxEyesxarexawesome Yeah, I'm Korean American, so I hear from my mom and relatives about the Japanese occupation of Korea and what it was like during WW2 for Koreans under Japanese rule. Sounds like Japan made themselves a lot of enemies everywhere. Of course that's not exactly shown in Hetalia's portrayal of WW2, although the series is still awesome.
@xRazzClone Well I visited Beijing years back, no animosity there I can see. And I think Northern China has a lot of Russian visitors and Influence (as in architecture). So they're fine with Russians in the North because they bring in business. Although I know particular individuals that have stigma concerning Russians.
And most Chinese people (especially my grandparent's generation and my parent's generation) is very respectful of Russia and my grandmother still knows a bit of Russian.
Also, the provincial capital of Heilongjiang, Ha'er bing is built in the style of Russian architecture and has a square with huge Matroskas^_^
Historically-wise, most Chinese people has always being respecful of Russia, as Russia is the origin of communism. I am not really sure how most Russians percieve the Chinese though.
And I agree with Draven. Why can't history be taught like this NORMALLY? Come ON. I passed a test in history over ww1, despite having no real knowledge of the event, just by watching and reading Hetalia...
@DravenUrei i'm happy, that russia still vs gays....and the only day, when "blue" can make a parade- the day of airborne(Blue berets)...but gays dont wanna to march in this day(((i wanna see that:D
@CMblCJI Um...........I did NOT understand that at all. But you are entitled to your opinions about Yaoi. Some people love it, others want it to die. It won't die just because you want it to, it has existed since history was recorded....probably even earlier.
that was like...totally awesome! made my day! I love you Russia!
