did you play it just by listening to it or did you have the sheets?
cause i personally always play by ear, because i can't read the notes that well... i took piano lessons for 8 or 9 years, but i quitted it last summer. and since that time i compose my own music, it's influenced by hisaishi, but of course i also try to give it a very individual style.
oh, and i'd like to add that i also liked how you worked out all those beautiful chords that are so typical for mr. hisaishi!

May I ask what version of the sheet music is this? It sounds like a mixture of the Encore version and the Richly Arranged version.
