This is a prophet of God. I think you are confusing giving a prophecy to being overtaken by the spirit. What Stacey was describing was the Holy Spirit breaking down Stacey's barriers. I have never heard her misquote scripture and prophecies have contingencies and can/will be changed based on the actions of those being prophesied over. Ninevah repented based on a prophecy and Jonah was actually angry! It goes the other way too when people walk away from Gods will. Read your bible folks.

I went to a conservative for many church and we would be lucky if we saw a handful (5 people) get born again in the year - that's even if we saw that many. It was so rare, so few and far between. Man looks at the outside appearance but God looks at the heart. I have seen many get saved and radically born again since being open and believing that God still moves in supernatural ways today.

I think when fire fell from heaven and consumed the offering in the story of Elijah - or when Jesus prayed for the sick and they were healed or even Paul for that matter who wasn't even saved until after Jesus had left - I'd say that's beyond normal, beyond the natural. God is changing lives through them receiving visions. Why is that so strange. People have had visions throughout the Bible?

You should read Stacey Campbell's book on ecstatic prophecy before judging or even meet her in person. There are many instances in the Bible where people shook, or fell down, or even prophesied in an 'ecstatic' manner when the Holy Spirit came upon them. The enemy is always a counterfeit. He is not a creator. He can only copy and distort what God is doing.

Imarinevetnc, you're right-- people shake from demons. It's also true that the demons recognized Jesus, and shook in his presence. So, anyone can speak in Jesus' name, it doesn't mean they are believers of the Truth.

Sometimes when the spirit comes on you in power our bodies twitch a little or we feel wavy and sometimes in intense encounters we shake a bit.
