@stymye "Self pollinating" is an inaccurate layman's term and an oxymoron. Tomatoes are self-fertizing which, as the video describes, have both parts of the plant needed for pollentation. However, it's still needs help getting the pollen from point A to point B (usually with the help of bees or wind, etc).

It's probably easier to buy a hive of live bumblebees. There's lots of suppliers in the UK if you do an internet search.

I started using this technique several days ago by flicking stems and it SEEMS to be working better than waiting for the bees.
