I think Nicole would've handled that question way more maturely. Tom could have just shrugged it off, or made a joke out of the question, or something all actors do to hide their emotions. Nicole probably would've just kept smiling, and actually, i wouldn't have been surprised if the question hadn't affected her at all. Though the question was out of line, Tom didn't have to handle it or take it like that. Nicole would've done so much better. I'm happy she's with Keith Urban now, instead of Tom.

I simply adore Nicole, she is a sweetheart. I do think it's kind of awkward to ask someone if the person they divorced was the 'love of their life' though and the interviewer was out of line. Tom seems like a basically nice guy who's just gotten in way too deep in his religion to the point of almost being a fanatic. The whole thing is just very sad.
