in the 70's media was a different thing. I saw this movie at the theather as a teenager. Brain De Palma blew me away. And I love most of his movies to this day. Thanks for the vid.
Put... 1974 - les années où le rock éclatait comme feux d'artifices dans toutes les directions, tous les univers visibles et invisibles ; tout n'est que redite depuis !!
Wow, I Don't know, it brought me back memories on smell of weed in the cheap seat section, and me and my girlfriend getting high off the second hand whiff on that stuff
@wilfre2s you're so damn right, i remember my brother showed me this movie when i was a kid, then when i grew up i joined a heavy band and we used to see it maybe once a month and it was like an inspirational moment to get to play for us, nice to remember my friends from Apopa!!!!
@hreyes211 my friend you have no idea how much i'm LOL :) about your comment....yea great movie I was 14 years old when I saw this movie back in El Salvavador :) take care
love this sequence. in fact, i love every frame of this great depalma film of the 70's. the man definitely knew how to put a film together. the combinations he makes( the juxtapositions), the clever film techniques, along with the almost incomparable pop music he uses create something unique and fantastically modern!!
I saw this in Los Angeles during its first run, and I was so high on pot at the time that I thought The Undeads were really cutting bodies up! It took me until the beheading to figure out what was happening...
This movie is still a gem! Great dancing, singing, and choreography in this piece by Harold Oblong, still alive and well, and known as Peter Elbling.
I can see were Kiss, Dave Vanian and alot of others got thier ideas from. This Film was soooo ahead of its time ... nice nod's to th New York Doll's Too : )
Loved this soundtrack ever since I saw it during MTV's first or second Halloween. I think of this song every election season, because of the way political parties focus on building cults of personality (Obama, Palin, etc.) more than they do on advocating principled positions -- and we the people just eat it right up.
I would have loved to see Faust as Winslow had really intended it. Probably would have been pretty sweet :)

Look quick because at 3:44 in, the black makeup on Harold's face switches sides.
For most of the video, it's on the left side, but for a split second, it's on the right..
