Good one. Most people don't add enough human activity. People really bring it to life. We are in the process of revamping our N scale set. Lots of detail and LOTS of people.
Amazing, beautiful work! However, I think the trainyard and city areas look too clean. Y'know, real trainyards and bldgs are incredibly grimy and to ever see more than one shiny train car at a time would be a real stretch. With a fine dry paintbrush and some talcum powder you can give a beautiful weathered look to all these surfaces. And I like the music too!
By far one off the best video's showing 'modelrailroad' that i have ever seen, incredible eye for the smallest detail, trains are moving at a respectable speed, my complements for this piece off modelrailroad.
FYI: IF Anyone goes to the BOEING TOUR PLANT located in Everett WA ask the tour guide about the ROUND HOUSE Boeing uses there. Don't give them the info I gave u untilyou ask.
If they do not know. Mention it to the Lead there, a guy named Sid. The plant is where Boeing assembles the 747-8, 767, 777 & 787s. The roundhouse is over 100+yrs old & obtained by Boeing. It came from DEADWOOD SD.
The Roundhouse itself is inside a 'square building' westside of the plant.
WOW! My dad passed away in Feb 1960 and was a Math, Science, Industrial Arts, Drama teacher. Had an A.A. Degree in Gunsmithing and was into buildiing his HO trains. Still have many of his trains he was working on and an engine he was building but never got to finish it. He always wanted to build the kind of display you have. Very Good! Excellent!
Thank you for the compliment! The railroad was completed, from design through installation, in 18 mos. The builders are the crew at Pop's Custom Model Railroads, arguably the best custom builder in business today.
wow just amazing omg i am amzed by the work on this modal railroad road so much to see and so realistic must of taken some years to get it so life like good job and hop to see some more and who ever made it well done 5 *****
Is that an intentional effect at 1:18, lights flickering to simulate a welder's arc? If it is...all I can say is WOW! Attention to details is an understatement here. Superb!
Yep, we used a commercial arc welder circuit for that effect. Thanks for the compliment. We hope to have a video of our latest railroad soon. Please visit our website for more great railroads.
I'm dumbfounded! Better shot of the trestle in this video, and there are campers and a canoe!! Love it! You really are a master of the art. The workmen along the line? Perfect...SO realistic. You've put SO much thought into this. It's very inspiring.

Really nice. Great detail.
If I had to nit pick about something it would be the blueish white LEDs.
I hate those things.

Beautifully detailed layout, however the artistic music selections have to go. How about adding some commentary
