I know this video is old, but I'll comment anyway XP Good vid. The only thing I disagreed with was the bit about the IC belt. I'm not saying it brings instant, overnight credibiity back to the belt, but it is being competed for by wrestlers (Y2J and HBK) who bring credibility to all their matches. Yes, the IC belt does help bring up-comers to main-event competition, but as you did say, Jericho can be one to teach others how to hold it. And for that, it helps the belts credibility, if only a bit.

Completely agree on the IC title. It's just keeping Y2J/HBK away from main event status and at the same time preventing rising stars from getting to the next level, but maybe Cade will head up, or the draft will (hopefully) change things.

There was a closed-door meeting before RAW a few weeks ago involving officials and the road agents. The meeting had to do with the declining ratings for RAW. As you would expect, the older wrestlers-turned-agents believed that the low ratings could be attributed to too many pre-taped scripted promos and less in-ring action on RAW. The producers were said to be down coming out of the meeting.

To me, Y2J being the IC champ does bring back some credibilty, as long as he actually defends it. Yes, he has had it plenty of times before, but some of the legends of wrestling ONLY held the IC champion. Rick Rude and Roddy Piper were main event guys but never held a belt above the IC title. I don't think the title needs to be designated to just young new talent. Just think how good it would be for CM Punk to win the title by beating a credible guy like Y2J !! It'll mean more than beating MIZ!!
Rick Rude was a former WCW World Champion yeah so he did hold a belt above the WWE Title but if you ask me ANY WCW TITLE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN A WWE TITLE!

I think the main event at Big Fucking Gun IV should be Joe vs. Nash. It's been building up and building up, and to have it culminate at Bound for Glory would be perfect.

Completely agree on the IC title. It's just keeping Y2J/HBK away from main event status and at the same time preventing rising stars from getting to the next level, but maybe Cade will head up, or the draft will (hopefully) change things.

There was a closed-door meeting before RAW a few weeks ago involving officials and the road agents. The meeting had to do with the declining ratings for RAW. As you would expect, the older wrestlers-turned-agents believed that the low ratings could be attributed to too many pre-taped scripted promos and less in-ring action on RAW. The producers were said to be down coming out of the meeting.

better ratings does= more money and that is what matters in the end the quality of the product doesn't matter as long as its able to make a good profit, tna really doesn't grasp that, they have the worst of both worlds: bad booking and they don't make a good profit

junior, there has'nt been anything else announced yet, they probably won't announce anything until after the draft. CM Punk sounds like a good bid to go against Y2J. So far Y2J&HBK's feud has had no mention of the Intercontinental title.

To me, Y2J being the IC champ does bring back some credibilty, as long as he actually defends it. Yes, he has had it plenty of times before, but some of the legends of wrestling ONLY held the IC champion. Rick Rude and Roddy Piper were main event guys but never held a belt above the IC title. I don't think the title needs to be designated to just young new talent. Just think how good it would be for CM Punk to win the title by beating a credible guy like Y2J !! It'll mean more than beating MIZ!!

Rick Rude was a former WCW World Champion yeah so he did hold a belt above the WWE Title but if you ask me ANY WCW TITLE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN A WWE TITLE!

IC title is worthless and same with the U.S title. They should have AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe at Bound For Glory but have Joe as a heel. I want TNA to move into bigger arenas like the WWE.
