@lliiaamm0099 you haven't seen Legionnaire (1998) or Jennifer's Body (2009) right? Any Michael Bay film could compete for the worst film ever, but not this. Jean-Pierre Jeunet is a genious.
micmac is my 1st nation tribe, the correct spelling is mikmaq, micmac is the anglo pronunciation. where in the hell did they come up with name for a movie...
I want to see this tomorrow in the theater... i don't care about some reviews here in Denmark rangign it between 2 and 4 stars of 6. I love his work and this looks so nice ;-)
@cyberassault congratulations, you just made yourself look like a fucking idiot. it probably would be tough for you to SET and read subtitles considering you can hardly grasp the english language.
Well, I checked his land of origin and, no surprise whatsoever, he hails from the US. Don't be mad at me, I know that country breeds intelligent people who master a second (or third!) language, too. But if someone takes one look at a European movie, goes "wah, no explosions, big-chested cheerleaders or men getting kicked in the nuts, how retarded, and subtitles! This s*cks!" - good chances of someone who was raised to believe that _everyone_ speaks English. Or at least should.
This looks really good! I really like european movies because of their ability to make psychologically satisfying entertainment. Other words, they have movies literally down to a science. XD Simply incredible.
Lol - 'tis kind of random but anyone notice that the man at around 0:36 is the same actor who played Monsieur de Sainte-Colombe in 'Tous les matins du monde'?
@leoninprogress I think it is by a French composer, called Raphael Beau. The music is in the film. I read the soundtrack comes out in the US on May 25.
Saw Micmacs tonight and totally loved it. If you love 'Amelie' and 'The City of Lost Children'..it also references 'The Big Sleep'...a winner in my books...check it out..
So beautiful! Loved it!
