I don't know if it's because it's kind of bad quality sound cause it's youtube but I can't really sense a whole lot of feelings put into the playing..
This song has made me cry since I was a toddler. I used to play dress up and dance around the living room while my mother was playing the piano and this was one of the many pieces she played. One day, I noticed that she was playing this song so well, and towards the end of the song, I couldn't dance around anymore and I started to cry. This song still makes me cry. Don't know the reason, but it does...Good Job and don't care about the mistakes.
Awesome. This is one of my altime favorite pieces. I have been trying to find this particular arrangement of Brian's Song, but have been unsuccessful.
As long as we're at it, you might as well give credit to Michel Legrand, who composed this piece (and whose songwriting company still owns the copyright). The lyrics afterward, entitled "The Hands of Time" were by Alan and Marilyn Bergman, but were not sung in the original movie.
I love this because this is the variation that I learned it in

Yes, Brian's Song. Starred James Caan and Billy D. Williams. Kind of hokey.

I bought the sheet music for this a few years ago but it was a different arrangement. Where did you get your sheet music from?

From a collection called Solid Gold, published in the 1970s (when I was taking piano lessons).
