  • thats a dam nice one

  • Dude,do not clean that point!!!

  • VERY NICE dont clean

  • holy schmokes!

  • do you guys ever hunt the fields on either side of that creek?

  • @freedomorelse not much. would if they'd plow em

  • NICE WORK SLAYER! SICK!!! LUCKY!!

  • That is a killer find!

  • Congrats, Superscore in the land of plainvew!!!

  • That's what I love about when it floods!

  • Nice point! I used to clean my points with cleaner, but it takes away from the value. I have a G-10 Graham Cave that I rubbed all the black off of. Overstreet does not devalue water or creek stain. I dont sell my points so no big deal. But cleaning them sure dose look pretty.Mark is right CLR will clean it up. It is just a matter of personal preference. Mark knows his stuff.

  • @flintobsessions i don't clean up points other than maybe a light scrubbing in water. I don't sell any either just like em the way I found em

  • killer find to clean that nice point use some cleaner called CLR just let it soak in it for about ten min it will just melt off of it

  • @momarksartifacts thanks for the info

  • @momarksartifacts Be careful, some types of chert will begin to disolve in CLR. I have two points that developed a nasty patina from CLR.

  • @momarksartifacts I just scrubbed enough of it off to see the workings a lil better and to see the transluscency of the piece. I have used vinegar on them to clean them b4 its less harsh than CLR. All of the black stuff that is on that point is moss deposits, its not a true creek stain, anyhoot HAPPY HUNTING TO ALL.
