Nice point! I used to clean my points with cleaner, but it takes away from the value. I have a G-10 Graham Cave that I rubbed all the black off of. Overstreet does not devalue water or creek stain. I dont sell my points so no big deal.But cleaning them sure dose look pretty.Mark is right CLR will clean it up. It is just a matter of personal preference. Mark knows his stuff.
@momarksartifacts I just scrubbed enough of it off to see the workings a lil better and to see the transluscency of the piece. I have used vinegar on them to clean them b4 its less harsh than CLR. All of the black stuff that is on that point is moss deposits, its not a true creek stain, anyhoot HAPPY HUNTING TO ALL.

killer find to clean that nice point use some cleaner called CLR just let it soak in it for about ten min it will just melt off of it

@momarksartifacts Be careful, some types of chert will begin to disolve in CLR. I have two points that developed a nasty patina from CLR.
