Me and everyone else at the Heights Performing Arts Ballet Company learned this dance it was really fun to learn all the steps and then get to watch perfessionals do the same dance as we did just a few days ago and its so amazing how together they all r and they r right on the music its just amazig love it!!!

My dance school's competition company did an eight minute production of Swan Lake this year and I was one of the four swans. This dance looks easy and effortless but it really isn't. This was the hardest two minutes I have done so far, having to stay in perfect timing and being in sync with the other dancers. It may have been hard, but it is easily my favorite!

i remember doing this dance. it's soooo incredibly painful and tiring. we did the dance, did our curtsey, then practically collapsed as soon as we got into the wings. but we did do it faster than this though...

This is a dance that we are having to learn in class and it is very difficult and exhausting! To keep the beat and the movements the entire time takes a vast amount of training, and these dancers are a great example of what a dancer is. We work hard to reach perfection and although we never accomplish perfection, getting close is a great reward.

this is the first time that i saw the 'pas-de-chat' really looking like a 'pas-de-chat' which means a cat step, mostly this part looks more like a pig gallop. very elegant :)

I'm doing this dance in my spring show and I just have to say that while it is the most beautiful pas de quatre to watch, it is SO exhausting. By the time you get to the fifteen pas de chats you feel like you'r going to throw up

This is was performed by the American Ballet at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, 2005. I only know because I rented the DVD and watched this for the first time a few days ago. I was immediately stricken by this ONE dance...it nearly brought tears to my eyes it was so graceful and beautiful.
