I'm thinking since this was an abbreviated Sunday night newscast (15 minutes), there was no need for a 2nd newcaster since Bill could handle it himself. This was Colleen's first year @ KNBC after 5 years @ KNXT/KCBS Channel 2 and she's still holding the reins @ Channel 4.
