@PresidentAssassin to lots of market research, track different stocks, and when they are overbought, short them, and when they are oversold, buy them, then when they pop back up, or if you lose too much, get out of them. set a stop point so that you dont lose too much money however. stocks can be very volatile and unpredictable, even if they look juicy, and ripe for the picking.
@PresidentAssassin it takes quite a bit of work if you want to be truly successful when trading, remember that. i personally make lists of nearly 60 stocks every day(stocks i have an interest in shorting, and buying), and look up about 40 different stock charts every day. even still, there are good trading stretches, and then stretches when you lose money... no one is always correct.
@GBJ83 most brokerages require a minimum of $500 to start an account. if you want to start a margin account however, you would need 2k. the reason i would suggest starting a margin account to begin with is it will only increase your chances of success. the reason it will only increase your chances of success, is because you can then short stocks. having the versatility to trade both ways is needed. but you can succeed either way

@GBJ83 most brokerages require a minimum of $500 to start an account. if you want to start a margin account however, you would need 2k. the reason i would suggest starting a margin account to begin with is it will only increase your chances of success. the reason it will only increase your chances of success, is because you can then short stocks. having the versatility to trade both ways is needed. but you can succeed either way

Nice video. Man I wish I'd bought some of those Turkish SE futures back in 98. Anyone see that Zimbabwe recently issued a $50 million note. That's Zimbabwean dollars u understand, not US. The US's monetary woes are really a storm in a teacup compared to the likes of Zimbabwe and other African countries. I remember visiting Zimbabwe in 2001, and the authorities banned tourists from leaving the country with Zim dollars which made me laugh even then. I'm sure they still have this insane law.

As far as Zeitgeist...
1. The federal reserve does NOT loan money to the government, it buys government securities on the open market, which anybody over 18 can do.
2. 85-95% of the money generated by the reserve returns to the treasury, they DO NOT keep their profits.
3. The federal reserve is a Quasi-Public institution, it is owned by the people, and serves the people.
4. Borrowing on margin is illegal
5. Gold backed money==super tight money supply, which means high interest rates.

if your investments are gaining real value after inflation is accounted for, does it even matter what the dollar is worth? i can understand the loss if someone's just sitting on paper money as the value drops, but how does it affect anyone else? is there a solid way to measure value so we don't have to rely on dollars or metals? somebody tell me cuz this has been confusing me for a while.

Look this guy is no different than any other wallstreet thief. He has done more to deflate our dollar bill than greenspan ever done. He is possibly doing this on purpose. So my idea is: dont consume. Need a new car. tv, xbox, furniture, appliance, house? They can all be purchased from indivduals from news ads, garage sales, thrift stores dont use credit cards or banks.circulate the money thru the hands of "WE" the people.
