  • Some parts kind of remind me of Wisconsin USA where I live! No wonder so many Irish immigrants settled there,LOL!

  • Let's hope some of Ireland stays unspoiled! Most of it still seems to be as far as I've seen!

  • Yeah RonanG good point! We are waiting Glenboy...

  • What da fuck, this is a pile of shite. I cant believe somebody could "professionally" publish such miserable rubbish. I come from around this area and although it does look like this most of the year, they could have at least picked a nice day. another word "steadicam" or even a good tripod's not that expensive for a production like this, the camera at no point stays still. This piece is meant to attract people to the beauty of the area, all this does is show it as a depressing hole

  • Good man glenboy - great to see a local leitrim man supporting his County! Fair play.

  • Ok Glenboy. Let's see your films. Put your link up so we can all judge your work. Hopefully we won't be as crude and illiterate with our comments as you are with yours.

  • Hi all. As the person who made Spirit I'd like to let you know that a higher resolution trailer is available at my site ironmountainmoviesdotcom Ronan Gallagher

  • the cows look lovley! but ya i agree nice filming nad all but its still leitrim

  • As nice and all as it looks.....it's still in Leitrim.

  • music doesnt work, its like a funeral, very depressing, and that mixed with shots of rainy weather, builds up for an altogether depressing image. just becasue its an eco holiday doesnt mean the life and fun has to be sucked out of it.

  • Come on you dont need to be that harsh! Have yout aken a look at teh othe Greenbox video? Do a search for it on youtube under ecotourism ireland... I'd be interested to hear your comments on it...

  • sorry, not trying to be harsh, u asked for our views on the video! eco tourism is a nice idea, but if u want to attract anything other than the stereotype crusties, u need to move away from the wailing woman music, and maybe record some imagery in the sun! I'll check out the other video now

  • Leitrim does not exist!

  • I loved yr video, all shots were really nice showing what Ireland really is. Infrastructure??no way!it takes these parts of Ireland away from what they are suppose to be.But loved the video and the music

  • ye what ireland reli is, shit weather all year round lol

  • i live beside lough allen and i know the area well, and in my honest opinnion it hs the potential because it is very unspoilt however there isnt enough infrastructure around leitrim 2 run this green box. more money and investment is needed into the local economy to make them more aware of what the green box scheme is trying to achive.

  • Thank you for posting this. It's a nice video about typical Irish scenery. The music gives a kind of earthy spiritual touch to the landscape, and blends in well. In future videos it would be nice to feature the sun rise. Another suggestion is an aerial swoop over of Lough Erne, with it's hundreds of islands, from Tim - Inisrath, Co. Fermanagh

  • been to leitrim myself. dont think this it will take off...

  • I'd be interested to hear why not Keith? Thanks.

  • it doesn't have the infrastructure really. u need to really hire a car if you were a tourist to get around the place and that's not too green. maybe there are other plans, i'm not too sure.

  • Electric cars would do it. Ireland's small enough and with slow country roads that the range and speed wouldn't be a problem for some cars now in production, especially for touring from a local base.

  • Well Keith - the Greenbox area is actually going to be serviced very soon by a local Bio Bus. This will cover the entire greebnox and will have its very own professional tour guide on board whos aim is to tell tourists all they need/want to know about the Greenbox are.

  • very good. hope it takews off. leitrim needs some people to bring up the population a bit as it's the least populated county in ireland. they might even put in another set of traffic lights in the county to cope with the demand!

  • What do folks think of this place???
