This man came out looking a job when Interplay was shut down in 2003. He was the project leader and the lead designer of, none other than the original Fallout 3, which was to be released 2004. Sadly, the place ran out of money, and got bankrupted. After that, Valve happily took the man who made the legendary Fallout games to content lead.

Valve is revolutionary and started so many great games... BUT in my opinion Half Life was extrememly wierd and boring... I don't enjoy swinging a crow bar at a bunch of alien objects and life forms over and over again and have so much bad audio assault my ears without rest.

@AxeGamers Choice. Games nowadays usually allow for a lot of choice in the gameplay. The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, Fallout, Crysis, etc. Now those are modern games so you may say how can you compare games 10 years apart? Look at what Trespasser did back in 1998. You were pretty much told "okay, heres where you are, heres where you gotta be, heres some dinosaurs, figure it out".

I dunno I just don't like Half Life's style. After I beat it once it wasnt fun anymore :/

It may not have super great graphics, but it's lip syncing and character animation is a step above even modern games. The only ones I've seen that have better is BioShock (character animation) and maybe Dead Space (lip syncing).

Yeah, there was a Half Life 2 released for the original Xbox. It stuttered, the graphics sucked, and the controller made it hard as hell, but yeah it existed. I got it at the same time I got Gears of War (Yes, I got Gears of War for the 360 and HL2 for the Original Xbox)

After playing Half Life 2...I couldn't stand Gears of War. That's just how good it was :D
