I was in Hawaii stationed at Schofield Barracks, ( 25th Inf Div, C. Co 65th Eng Bn ) in 1982 when I first heard this, the Swing Club on Hotel St, Honolulu. This was the jam in my college days,at Central State University (Wilberforce Ohio). The cafeteria went crazy at dinner time, when someone played the jam
This brings back memories of Saturday nights dances at the no A/C teen center. Afterwards, everybody would then bum rush Mickey D's were the weekly melee fight would break out with the po po dispatched wieldding batons and spraying mace at random. Ahhh..... those were the good ole days!!!
Go go was a short lived genre but very cool while it played.

This brings back memories of Saturday nights dances at the no A/C teen center. Afterwards, everybody would then bum rush Mickey D's were the weekly melee fight would break out with the po po dispatched wieldding batons and spraying mace at random. Ahhh..... those were the good ole days!!!
