@SweetPoffin I'm not saying something gives someone the right (after all, these are fictional characters that they chose to make transgendered and chose to use slurs against, so that doesn't even hold up), i'm saying that someone being slightly rude doesn't mean you should immediately jump to being a vile bigot and insulting an entire broad group of people just to "get back at them." You can't justify racism or sexism in that way, either.

@SweetPoffin But again, these are *fake characters* written specifically to be A) trans and B) annoying, so that they could try to (very poorly) justify using transphobic, prejudiced insults, slurs and languages that is hurtful to *real people*, people who aren't necessarily rude, who don't necessarily talk loud (how loud must one talk for it to be ok to treat them in such a manner, anyway?), or hurt anyone and yet hear this language in real life, which is dehumanizing and offensive.

@SuperSimonuk Yeah, but it would be nice to treat such people with respect instead of making them cartoonish caricatures and playing up stereotypes. Many trans women turn to prostitution because they're desperate, poor, and have difficulty finding jobs or a stable income. It's often not something they choose because they want to, but this goes beyond being unkind to just them and fires a broadside at all trans people for a cheap laugh. It's very unkind and hurtful.

I cant imagine any kid at school telling his careers advisor (or her) that when they grow up they want to be a hooker. Life is shit. Having said that some people do work as prostitues/escorts and enjoy it and get good money.

And I have a lot of trans friends who are not at all like this, but were offended and saddened by this episode. There aren't that many portrayals in popular fiction of trans characters where they aren't A) pathetic counterfeits or B) devious deceivers whose sexuality is a fraud.
