The death animations are awesome. At the end the vaultmaster guy kicks you out of the vault. If you have bloody mess you cap him in the head at the end! :)

@augusthour4 Fallout 3 and its ilk are the red headed step children of the original Fallout series. Fallout 3 is a good game in its own right, but it does not have the same inner quality of the original 2 games - maybe it is a generational/age gap thing.. I dunno, all I know is that Fallout 1 & 2 are far better than 3 in my eyes.

Thus, by your logic, your opinion is "wrong". Though I really don't care what your opinion is, just trying to keep w/ the times.

@carlosjuero I think it mostly depends on what you have played before.. i started with fallout 3.. and after completing that severeal times, i tried fallout 1 and 2 and both couldn't get me as fallout 3 did.. I don't really know why.. maybe its because ist more modern and plays better. But on the other hand, at the time where f1 &f2 have been realsed, it must have been great overwhelming games,but if you don't "grew" up with em, chances are you wont like em

@TheFree33333 I am pretty sure I said where I got my copy in the comments here. Search for Good Old Games (YouTube doesn't like me putting the url for some reason). Good Old Games is part of CD Projekt (the creators of The Witcher) and is a great place to find classic games. Living in a rural area isn't an excuse when there are options out there - I live ~1 hour away from the nearest game store here.

What the hell? Ok so I got use to the series with Fallout 3. I get Fallout Trilogy and the cutscenes are full of rainbow colors. Then I play teh gameplay and teh graphics are pretty bad (I don't care about graphics much though). Then you have to click to attack and it's just not fun. :(

Go to your fallout 1 or 2 folder open up the ddraw ini and set Mode=0 to Mode=4. that worked for me hope it works for you ( :
