@cuddles691975 HI CUDDLES691975 YOU CAN GET IT ON DVD GO TO AMAZON.COM AND TYPE IN STRAIGHT TALK UNDER MOVIES AND TV AND YOU CAN BUY IT THERE.. THEY JUST RELEASED IT THIS YEAR AS WELL ON BLUE RAY HOPE YOU GET YOU ONE..
When I think of all of the radio talk show hosts who have, IMHO, sadly forgotten the meaning and value of this song since it came out...*shakes head* Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm.....
Straight Talk was the soundtrack to the 1992 film of the same name starring Dolly Parton and James Woods. Composed of ten original Parton compositions (including a rerecording of "Light of a Clear Blue Morning"), the album reached #22 on the U.S. country albums charts.
You can tell she was trying for another "9 to 5", the song had a similar brass section, an uptemp an an equally infectious melody. This movie should have been a bigger hit than it was, with a great cast including Dolly, James Woods, Jerry Orbach, Michael Madson and Spaulding Gray, a fairly entertaining storyline (though slightly implausible at the end), it was certainly much better than "Rinestone" or "Whorehouse".
I absolutely love this lady...she is so straight forward, and does not give a damn what people think of her.
