Pretty horse, but the rider is letting it leave its back end behind - it is leaving too much on it's fore - it's hind should be more 'underneath' it. Also the horse is 'over-bending'; it's nose is TOO turned in (it should be a straight line down from the poll) this is not a proper balanced canter. :(

@jo123phoebe I completely agree. The bit could also be causing that problem. It seems as if it was put right into the leveraged bit and not eased into it as most people do. I could also be wrong about that all I'm going from is what I have seen at the stable I used to work at. She should be able to collect him without that much pressure on the reins.

and i just started back on my horse for about 4 years i wasnt sure wat it was. i use to be a hunter and i just restarted jumping. my stirrups snapped and i flew off. wich is y i stopped riding. i was scared but when i reunited wwith roger i could not help but ride him. im back on the trails and im pretty dam proud so u need to not correct me like that. you obviously dont no wat its like to be at a hunters national and fall off and break a rist and be that imbarrised.

Thats a Lipizziner(sp) and those are the kind of braids they do because they have a thicker mane. They also do it for other breeds that are supposed to have thicker manes.
