  • Do you have Parkinson's disease? :)

  • guys she even said it.. ''sometimes the butter-cream can be a little stiff and hard to pipe''.. that's why her hand was shaking.. because she was applying pressure..

  • @paulokka100dancer Some people can be so silly. They have no idea how much practice it actually takes to perfect it.

  • A little shakey, I think she's camera shy lol

  • what hand precision!

    how steady and careful..

    drrrrrrrrrrppp

  • wow, look at that steady hand

  • lol forget putting it on the cake just eat it :D

  • I never figured out how to make frosting roses until I watched this video. Thanks!

To the commenters mentioning one shaky hand, you've obviously never piped frosting before, so why the heck are you watching this video?

  • @wickedbatman Why does that matter?

  • @DiggyHead she is trying to get the icing out.

  • She was shaking so much it made me shake.

  • love ur tattoos. :))

  • Woah, she shaking !!

  • I'm attempting the same thing with Royal Icing for a wedding cake (for Kate and Prince William) for a party on Friday. I'm FOUR batches in and can't manage to pipe even one rose that doesn't either melt within seconds OR so stiff my hand cramps by the second row. THANK YOU for trying to help us with your example. It's harder than it looks.

  • Not bad looking.

  • ok my roses keep falling flat does this mean my frosting is to thin ?

  • @DiggyHead Well if you've ever piped buttercream icing, you'll know why her hands are shaking. It ain't always easy to do!

  • Thank You. : )

  • Too flat

  • Okay this explains how to make one, yes :p But how to make the buttercream? :)

  • oh no... of all this vids from this serie, not one of them is good... I'm not even able to learn something from this, it just shows work like I did it when I was just beginning (and I'm still a beginner). sigh... I just find it sad, the vid's are so well made, but there is nothing of value in it.

  • It's pretty

  • Thanks for taking your TIME to help others. A big hello from Tennessee.

  • who care if her hand was shakey it dnt matter its just a video :@

  • wow. those are some rude comments.

  • @DiggyHead dont you even think it's really easy to squeeze the thing up? Lol.. Do think again please..

  • You could also use scissors to lift off the rose.

  • Watching you pipe made me really nervous, but the end result was lovely. ^^

  • SHAKEY.

  • thank you :) now i know how hahah

  • whats a good makeshift substitution for a rose nail?

  • @supersqueak if u got a walmart go to the cake batter and icing and there is plastic ones with four icing tips ncluded and some people can do it on s dowel rod or pencil its alot more harder but the results ae about the same u can also try it on wax paper or parchment paper or do it on the cake its self

  • Thank You! Thank You! Thank you! I watched several of these videos and I was still struggling with making roses. But thanks to you, I have conquered that battle. I even showed my nine year old son to make this way. Again thanks a lot

  • @emibeery it's "buttercream frosting) not just butter.

  • butter frosting can actually do flowers? i didnt know about that... is it just using the regular butter frosting recipe or is there a special ing? Since "butter" melts, do you need to refrigerate it for storing or not?

  • @emibeery yes u can FREEZE it over night and it shouldnt melt after that they will be a little fragile or what you can do is but it on wax paper and let it dry out over night

  • i have seen other frosting roses and they are better than this.

  • you are soooooo feakin skilled!!!

  • shaky hands.

  • @DiggyHead yes I had to keep turning my head, I was getting nervous.

  • It wAs ok...

  • OK, this one at least looks like a flower.....that somebody stepped on! lol

  • @malvavisco10 Like you could do any better.

  • @666IfOnly you both have a point

  • Thank you!! :D

  • It's pretty =)

  • her hands was shaking cause it hard to squeeze frosting in the bag during making the rose.

  • @bernie48g i agree its awfully flat :(

  • @bernie48g the frosting probably got warm. stop being stupid and actually think.

  • lol i did think! it's the technique thats wrong. if you do not rotate the tip while you are making the pedals they won't stay up. they need to have some kind of texture. Ive been taking classes for a while now. Roses are pretty easy to do, her's is kinda ugly. but hey if her followers want to learn how to make ugly roses its cool =)

  • how do u takeit off the spatula without completely distoying the rose????

  • @dimoneddancing You usually use a pair of slightly parted scissors to swipe under the rose and carefully lift it *nods*

  • @dimoneddancing You spell correctly

  • @dimoneddancing stick a piece of parchment paper to the rose nail, then when it's made you can take it off and put it int he freezer and it comes right off at a nice hard consistency. this makes it much much easier to place on the cake, especially if you are making lots and lots of them.

  • hahahaa

    i think its pretttttttttttttty

  • Hi this was great! I would like to know how you many petals you would put on each layer????!?!?!?!?

  • Hi, I know how to make buttercream frosting, but mine is usually too thin to do any decorating. How do I get stiff buttercream frosting?

  • Add more confectioner's sugar to your frosting, about a tablespoon at a time until you get it to your liking.

  • @heidigrl43434

Add more confectioner's sugar to your frosting. it makes your icing harder.

  • Thanks for sharing! This is great advice with good tips. Don't forget to add me as a friend too. Bigg hugs-Shonna

  • This is one of the best tutorials I've found so far for buttercream roses. Thank you very much for putting this together.
