sorry, but that isn't true.. He started out by playing a right-handed 4 string bass, turning it so the thick strings were lowest, then left-handed 4 string basses until he got his custom made basses with 2 strings.. The rocket bass originally had 3 strings, but has 2 strings now.. And in the studio he uses 4 string left-handed basses and his 2 strings..
