I don't get why Ezio didn't kill Rodrigo Borgia when he was following him and his Venetian Templar buddies. -.- He could double assassinate two of them (Perhaps Rodrigo and Barbarigo) and He could chase down the others. I never trusted Uberto from the start in this game! I only wish there were a way to kill him before he killed Ezio's family! Especially that scene where he offered Ezio his place to stay! If Ezio suspected him of being a dog like I did, he could of done what I would of, got into his house, wait for him to sleep and kill him!

@HeavyMetalManiak6 Nah, this kill was okay, but the later kills are much better.. And showing agression is not the Assassin's Creed way of killing remember that.. The entire story behind the flying machine mission was great.. He tries to stop a high authority from getting assassinated, flies all over Venice, reaches his destination and only to be blamed for the assassination of 2 government officials.. That was one of the coolest moments in the game

This game has the SICKEST story and uses real locations, people, weapons and real history, politics, military, etc! I have been the Venice, Rome and Florence and I love it!!! This game is so cool and it uses no fantasy or anything. A little bit of sci-fi but that does not effect the past story (Ezio's story.

I have to admit I was a bit disappointed at how the Templars changed so drastically from the first Assassin's Creed and the second. The ones in the first were so much more idealistic, and I actually had a bit of remorse for killing them because they wanted to liberate people, albeit the controversial methods. The Templars in the second, however, were more power-hungry, and it was easy for me to just stab and shoot them.

I seriously doubt that. Perhaps it was because of the change of leadership that he managed to use a Piece of Eden to recruit them for his own twisted ends. Who knows if all the Templars are even immune to the effects of the Piece of Eden?

I really do think that over time, the templar's ideas became more and more centred around domination than liberation, which created these templars. Then, they evolved into the modern day templars: much colder, ruthless and despicable.

The Templars had the Apple before and during Assassin's Creed II. During Sequence 11 there was that ship come in from Cyprus that had the container with the Apple inside.

Aside from that though, Vidic did tell Desmond during the first Assassin's Creed that the Templars aimed to do the same thing the Assassins did: To create a world of perpetual peace - Albeit their controversial methods.

I'm thinking that Ubisoft might throw something into the mix - A bit of a civil war within the Templars.

I mean, in the context of the game, a lot of historical figures who were megalomaniacs or power hungry sought to use the Pieces of Eden to "persuade" people to support them - Like Hitler, Edison, or Ford for example.

Those higher-ups of Abstergo who showed up at the end of the first Assassin's Creed seem to be like that, but Vidic really doesn't seem to be that way. It may be because he's old, or that he's got an agenda of his own that involves the Pieces of Eden.

Thanks so much for this! The scene right after Uberto's death is potentially one of my favorites in the game (though maybe tied with the very final scene in the vault). Shows just how disparate the first and second games are in terms of the main character and the emotion involved. Ezio yelling about how his family isn't dead made me go from interested to obsessed. Great sequel, great main character, phenomenal scene. THANKS!
