Here's how you know someone has HIV/AIDS when entering the US. They bring their medications with them.
So people who are managing the disease and who often have viral loads that are undetectable cannot enter the country as tourist.
However people who (1) don't know they are in infected or (2) are not on medication or (3) simply forgo their medication for the visit CAN enter the US.

You are right. There is no HIV blood test requirement for entering the US.
Here's how you know someone has HIV/AIDS when entering the US. They bring their medications with them.
So people who are managing the disease and who often have viral loads that are undetectable cannot enter the country as tourist.
However people who (1) don't know they are in infected or (2) are not on medication or (3) simply forgo their medication for the visit CAN enter the US.

Case in point, you travel to mexico fuck a stripper get aids. There is no way to prevent you from re-entering the country as people dont have to take aids tests everytime they travel.
Its 100% illogical to even have this law, the only people it targets are people who are known to have the virus.

davidpark68 It happened to me once, you see..and my doctor told me that it actually takes a significant, visible amount of blood to get infected that way, not just an un-clean needle. But of course weird things happen sometimes, things there are one in a thousand chance of happening and so on..but in general needles are not very dangerous. : )

Heres what you do. You raise taxes across the board and remove the employer mandates. That way small business no longer have to pay to insure people. That will help small businesses big time since insurance is one of their biggest expenses.
You tax people more but we go to a single payer system where everyon is covered.
Yes you may end up paying 1000 more to the government but you would no longer need to pay a 8000/year insurance premium

the rich already pay more, how about you pay your share? I'm all for a fair tax over our current system, it would do away with most of the IRS, the loopholes & encourage savings. A large purchasing pool just means some will pay into it & some will be subsidized. it will be the same as our tax system, 20% will pay 80% of it.

davidpark68 I was just about to mention hepatitis in my comment, you know..but I left it out. Hepatitis-viruses you need a lot fewer of to contract the disease. There it will often suffice with a simple needle sting, that's correct. But as I said, the HIV-virus is different. Of course you don't want hepatitis either, so one should always be careful. : )
