  • Appropriate image for this video, since CHU's transmitter is near Ottawa.

    BTW, they no longer use Eastern Standard Time; they announce the time in UTC (same as Greenwich Mean Time).

    More people on the U.S. East Coast probably set clocks and watches to CHU than WWV given CHU's transmitters are closer than WWV's in Colorado.
