Yeah, my December graduation last year was very short and there weren't that many graduates. That's usually the case for most December grads so I was glad. After the walk across the stage, the anxiety levels totally subsided for me. But as far as the whole standing around part, man I felt so awkward going through that. Hopefully you'll have someone to talk to at least, I had no one. And if it's the same for you then maybe you could play on your phone or text someone so it appears like your busy.
I'm hoping it'll be the same for mine with not being relatively all that many graduates. I hope it'll be relatively short. I think for me, once we get in there and sit down, most of my anxiety will be gone by that point. Definitely all gone when I return to my seat from walking across the stage. But yeah, hopefully I will have someone to talk to.
Believe it or not, I hated my graduation. I went to a giant school, so there were thousands in my graduating class. I had to sit through a plethora speeches, guest speakers, and every name of every graduate being called out. The ceremony lasted about 5 hours.
As far as not having anyone to talk to, I'm a loner anyway so it didn't bother me. However, I'm always going against the grain so don't base it off of my experience. You may enjoy it and I hope you do. Have fun, man.
I doubt that there will be thousands graduating in my class. I'd guess it'll only be in the hundreds somewhere. At least I hope anyway since I'd rather not sit there for a horribly long time. I hope, if it does end up with me not having anyone to talk to, it won't bother me too much either.

I'll do that. I'll just need to make sure that they know how to do the camera properly.
