Secondly, LIFE sentences are not given to people who cause death by dangerous driving.
Thirdly the courts take a dimmer view on people in the public eye than they do on Joe bloggs, meaning celebs etc tend to get harsher sentencing than others because it sets examples

The amount of times I've accidentally snorted a massive bag of coke, sunk 15 pints, accidentally got in my car without knowing what I was doing, started it and then driven into an old geezer at high speed and killed him, before accidentally fucking off for a few days before going to the coppers, so as to get the substances out of my system so I don't getworse punishment.
