id love to learn wrestling but here in ireland there is none so im starting bjj but there isnt many places that do it either...all i have is muay thai
Horrible two on one positioning there. You need to use your head to drive into his temple and maintain control, also a true two one one is both hands under. Very Poor Technique.
@ChickityChoice A traditional two on one has both hands "hugging" around the outside of the arm, the wrist control is simply too easy to break as shown here, where as if both hands are sucking the arm in and pressure is applied to the side with the head and chest, there is minimal chance of escape and tons of control there. I'm sorry, but this is just not how its done.
@LaurelRidgeR I disagree with you... Both hands hugging the outside of the arm is the climb behind position, where you transition to from this. Search russian tie-up and you will only find tutorials with this grip.
that is not a russian or two on one or what ever youd like to call it thats just retarted a russian never happens like that first off and second off he doesnt have the right position after and the footsweep was wrong nice job being a total and complete failure
this comment has 7 thumbs up, i was curious about the footsweep something looks wrong but im not sure. anyone help me out with this, the video looks legit, except for the footsweet

@LaurelRidgeR Both hands are under. It's really not all that bad, although I agree with that he's doing it from relaxed positioning.

THIS COULD BE USED IN MUAY THAI CLENCH FIGHTING ..
GRECO -ROMAN HAS MUCH TO OFFER THAI CLENCH FIGHTING
G-R WRESTLERS SHOULD GO TO THE MUAY THAI SCHOOLS AND TEACH THEM HOW TO PUMMEL AND NECK FIGHT..
G-R PRACTATIONERS COULD LEARN THE KNEES OF MUAY THAI VERY QUCKLY SINCE THEY ALREADY CONTROL THE NECK AND CLENCH!!
TRY IT AND SEE IF I AM YES OR NO??
ITS ALL UP TO YOU

@mattw101 in wrestlig people give whatever name they want to whatever move they want i could call a peterson ahip toss if i wanted doesnt matter
kaliedoscopesharinga 1 year ago
@mattw101 It's a two on one, since wrestling terms are easy, 2 hands on one arm is most definatly a two on one. I'm sure that was a Russian too.
