KAI is the company that produces Kershaw knives, as well as shun kitchen knives and the zero tolerance line, KAI has models made in the US like the ken onion models as well as some Japanese imports..the one you showed at 1st is long discontinued, had a few of them they really were nice affordable folders...

Actually the brand is CALLED Old Timer, however, the blade is not only not spring assisted it also doesn't even lock into position. That's right, it's a folding jack knife that does not have either frame or liner lock.
