  • lololol ;o;o

  • Tom Marvolo Riddle is better then Harry Potter

  • In the books I despise Voldemort(Tom Riddle), but his voice is sooo... LOVELY... But of course I'm on Harry's team... I love Harry by the way.. He has got a LOVELY voice too... XD

  • This guy can act... very well.

  • JK ROWLING. DO A PREQUEL!!!!!!ONE!!!!1. FUCK HARRY, RON, AND THAT BUSHY HAIRED GIRL. GIVE US MORE OF TOM RIDDLE AND HIS SEXYY ASSSS. I DONT GIVE A LEFT HIPPOGRIFS TESTICLES THAT HE'D KILL ME JUST OR SAYING THAT, LET HIMMMM. HE COULD KILL ME, POSSESS ME, IMPERIUS ME, AND KILL ME ANYYY DAY.. Amen.good lord, great balls of fire.. -- love, Chuck Norris/Bill Gates/every female to walk this earth/ Oprah/ Dr. Phil/Darth Vader/Stewie/That guy from those credit score commercials

  • @WingDaisy i totally agree he is sexii no doubt and anybody who disagrees can go suck one!

  • @WingDaisy ur the wiredest person ive ever met. voldemort wouldnt die if it werent for HARRY RON AND HERMOION STUPID :

  • @leauxbert Like everyone else has said killing someone is not the only thing u hav to do. There is a ritual of some sort and a spell but j.k. Won't tell people cuz it will b in her Harry potter encyclopedia or something. She did tell her editor or someone else involved in the writing process tho and they proceded to throw up

  • "Isnt it bad enought to kill one person" ,mabey not if their crazy hahah!

  • lol

  • LOL

  • @BenTennison16 Tell that to Cleopatra, Elizabeth I, Catherine the Great, and the many superior female leaders of human history.

  • @Sshelly34213 of course there are exceptions. but there is a REASON why men are USUALLY leaders. Not trying to be sexist but we ARE more rational. Had to break up with my gf last week cos of her neediness. It was starting to get ridiculous so dumped her.

  • @BenTennison16 Yea...it's because we lived in a patriarchal society...

    That's the only reason.

There were plenty of societies, "rational" societies that were/are matriarchal. How ignorant are you to not even understand that?

"Had to break up with my gf last week cos of her neediness. It was starting to get ridiculous so dumped her."

Emotions by default are irrational...your point makes no sense.

  • @BenTennison16 Oh and argument by example is a fallacy.

  • 3:07 holy shit its voldemort

  • when i saw this part in the movie i was like"He can't be trusted Slughorn! Don't trust him" and then he told him about the horcux and i was like"=o you didn't listen to me"

  • I have a major crush on Tom even if he is voldemort

  • tom riddle is somewhat kind of cute!!!!!!!

  • I just finished watching Hannibal Rising.

Now I want a prequel film showing Tom Marvolo Riddle's gradual transformation into Lord Voldemort.

  • Frank Dillane is an extraordinary good looking young man, and sophisticated speaker. I was surprised to find that he is Steven Dillane's son....of course, Steven is a very good British actor and one of my favorites(loved him as Jefferson in John Adams).

  • "it's called,as i understand it, a Horcrux." "i beg your pardon?" "a Horcrux." I think slughorn just wanted him to say it again cuz it sounded so awesome xD

  • any one else see the random guy down in the left corner at 0:02? lool x)

  • @mariaFernand4 I didn't at first but went back and looked yep def some random guy lol

  • Derp.

  • So this clip is high

  • I like how Tom has the perfect mixture of charming and scary. He was done well in this film.

  • To make a horcrux is supposed to involve some horrible detail that J.K. Rowling will not divulge. I think you have to fuck the corpse after you kill it to prepare your soul and then cast the spell to create the horcrux at the moment you blow your load.

  • @NecroButcher91 Please do not try to tell me that Voldemort fucked Lily. Or his Riddle relatives, for that matter.

  • Lol, 3:05! What is with that guy? I love Tom Riddle though, Voldy is a BIT over the top but Tom is pretty cool...

  • I love the part 1:35 til 1:56 It is brilliant, really!! :)

  • How camp is Lord Voldemort?!?!

  • I like slughorn's face xD SHOCK!

  • they didnt have to destroy the horcruxes they could of split then from their homes by extracting the soul from the e.g. locket like a dementor kisses a human or wizard/witch

  • @blakenorthman because controlling dementours was so apparently easy.

    lol

  • is there anyone else that this scene really makes the movie for them?

  • loved this scene so much he played i perfectly

  • Wait, If you can make a horcrux by killing someone, then why couldn't Pettigrew or Snape make one?

  • @leauxbert because they dont know how to do it. BAM BAM BAM

  • @leauxbert Because Killing only rips your soul but it stays in your body a Horcrux takes it from your body. That is why Voldemort looks strange.

  • @DevilDark192 Strange is a bit of an understatement mate..

  • @leauxbert They never tried. You can murder someone and make a Horcruxe but you dont hafto.

  • @leauxbert there is a spell or incantation by making a horcrux or a ritual. after killing someone, i think you're going to perform the ritual along side the object where you want to hide a part of your soul then after that you have a horcrux. but just like Dumbledore said, a magic, especially dark magic..leaves TRACES.

  • Fuck, hes sexy

  • @annomakesyoudance You're darn right he is. XD

  • How he says "Horcurx" = TOTAL ABSOLUTE FANGASM.

  • So fucking alluring

  • the way he said murder in front of the fireplace sent shivers down my spine. Frank dillane played the part perfectly, he's one of the many reasons this movie was my favourite harry potter movie, it's so dark...

  • it's so eerie. I loved this scene, and what scares me the most that both frank dillane( tom riddle in this scene) and tom riddle from the chamber of secrets were both incredibly hot.

  • Tom Riddle is Anna Popplewell's finest role.

  • As good as Christian Coulson was, this one was scarier without a doubt. Both of them do look somewhat alike, though; I feel like Coulson looks like a slightly older version of this guy.

  • @CinematicGalaxy i know, they had sum othr guy they were gona use 2 play riddle at the age of 18 but they cut it from the script. i say if they couldnt use 29year old coulson @ the time to play this 16 year old riddle, the they could of at least used him to play the 18 year old riddle..

  • @CinematicGalaxy I think this kid is Seth Cooper and yes he is extremely cold in a way the Christian Coulson riddle wasn't. Perhaps because this scene dealt with such a dark subject, but I always get chills when I watch it.

  • "Four years ago when you saved Ginny Weasley's life in the Chamber of Secrets, you brought ME this." L0l noob, he brought Richard Harris the diary.

  • Not a fan of this kid playing Tom, he looks too young. The guy from Chamber of Secrets is much closer to how I picture Tom Riddle

  • @JesterHopperpot1 no way this guys perfect

  • Tom's whole life is quite the......

    *takes off sunglasses*

    riddle.

    *runs away*

  • @kingson75 Most.Epic.Comment.Ever.

  • @kingson75 WTF??? LOOOOOOOOOOL :D

  • at 1:34 you can hear the Horcrux sound from Deathly Hallows

  • When i first saw this scene and i heard the word 'Horcrux' said in-film for the first time, shivers went down my spine and all i could think of was 'Shit just got real'

  • @Linksmilk13

Me to i love the scene´s where Tom Riddle is playing in. :D

  • Of all the parts of the movie this is like the favorite one of all poor tom riddle he had a reason to become bad he's story of his life is sad and horrible i feel like sad when he got kill on the last movie poor tom RIP

  • he's so creeeeepy

  • At 3:31... Why did Harry twist his neck? Is it because he came in such close contact to one of Voldemort's horcruxes, he himself being one? If that's true, then why didn't that happen with any of the other ones?

  • @LachrymoseMelon it did. When you look back at the scene in Deathly Hallows Part 1 while entering the Muggle-Born Registration Commission, Harry sense the Slytherin Locket by saying "It's Here." In Godrics Hallow, Harry talks with Nagini (by Bathilda Bagshot's Inferi) thru parselmouth and Harry was not aware that they were talking parselmouth.

  • @LachrymoseMelon Harry identified the Helga Hufflepuff's cup instantly as he sensed and heard the Horcrux inside Bellatrix vault at Gringotts. So is the Diadem of Ravenclaw at the Room of Requirement.

  • What's the name of this actor?

  • The films are waste compared to the books. They take things too fa and lose realism in context.

  • @therealist811 i don't think so. i think the Slughorn's memory from the novel was adapted perfectly in the film. What gives me grudge though is that they omitted the Memory of Bob Ogden, Morfin Gaunt and Hokey.

  • @misterjabs2008 Not prefectly, no way. Read the passage in the book then watch this. There's definately a difference... not in what is said, but how it is said.

  • @therealist811 maybe to you but for me i think it's just appropriate.

  • 3:07 guy standing up to go to the bathroom lol

  • I love the teenage tom riddle! Makes me wish they would have kept a teenage version of voldemort throughout the movies instead of that ugly old snake faced dude. A teenage version would have been more interesting to watch.

  • Such a charming and highly captivating young boy! Just by watching this short scene one can tell what a promising actor he is! I can't get enough of this scene. I think he was the perfect candidate for this role for he is not acting as Tom Riddle, he has indeed embodied the character. *standing ovation*

  • i have to say... i miss tom riddle from chamber of secrets... now HE was a hottie...

  • @dianapaloozaa He didn't have that evil aura to him. It doesn't matter whether he was hot or not, he simply did not fit the role of an evil manipulative dark wizard.

  • @ArchayosYPP I see your point, but I have to say that in all the descriptions of Voldemort as a teenager, he is always described as charming, handsome, and deceptive. Look at how he is portrayed in this scene: epitome of creepy and evil. There is no way he could have gone around Hogwarts and fooled everyone (except Dumbledore, of course) looking like that. The Tom Riddle of Chamber of Secrets did not seem have the evil aura because he isn't supposed to; he's a master of deception.

  • @dianapaloozaa I agree with you. At this point in the story, however, the person reading (or watching, rather) already knows the true nature of Tom Riddle. I guess that's why they changed the actor. To promote the evil atmosphere shrouding him.

I think the Tom Riddle in Chamber of Secrets was appropriate for that movie, since it had a much lighter atmosphere. I preferred this one in the Half Blood Prince, though -- it just seemed more appropriate to me.

  • Damn he's so HOT

  • I really Love Tom's voice and he is so cute!!!

  • this is my favourite scene out of any film<3

  • Does anyone else notice Harry cracks his neck like Voldemort?

  • why does tom riddle look like stingy from lazy town

  • @sundin4ever Hey guys look at me im sundin4ever I can't formulate my own thoughts so I just say "Cool story bro" to everything

  • I love the part from 3:21 - 3:27

  • @oAndyy cool story bro

  • The ring tom was stroking was Marvolo Gaunts ring (tom riddle's grandfather) which was used as a horcrux by tom. Somehow the film directors chose the leave out the Gaunts in the film

  • When Dumbledore says, "Even more difficult to destroy," I never noticed his hand was black... That eluded to his fuckup when he tried on the ring and it cursed him

  • Slughorn gave me Pedobear vibes, tbh.

  • Damn it why does the world of Harry Potter produce so many STUPIDLY ATTRACTIVE dark wizards????? O_o

  • does anyone else notice the little figure in the left hand side bottom corner from 0:02 to 0:08?

    wtf is it? o.o

  • @NeonVanilla this is in a movie theatre

  • @NeonVanilla It appears this scene was taken in theatres with a high quality camera enough to where that if someone was to get up, it would appear as if it was in the movie, rather than just an obnoxious blurry figure.

  • @Fallenadvocate wow.

  • @NeonVanilla wtf? LOL yeah that is weird

  • @NeonVanilla that's probably someone walking out of the theater

  • I love this actor as Tom Riddle, but I wish they could have gotten the actor from CoS. He is AMAZING as Tom Riddle :)

  • i rkn the tom riddle from the chamber of secrets was hotter too bad he was too old to be in this movie

  • who were the 7 people he killed?

  • @AriaMeiGhalili Moaning Myrtle for the diary, Tom Riddle Sr for the ring, two nameless Muggles for the locket and diadem, Hepzibah Smith for the cup, James and Lily Potter for Harry, and Frank Bryce for Nagini.

  • @DavidbarZeus1 Oh wow! Thank you soooo much!! But i just want to know, once he killed them, how did he make it a horcrux? plus, harry has killed some people too ( although they were bad guys) so does that mean its a horcrux as well?

  • @lilchantel338 He had already killed his dad, but I don't know if he'd put his soul into the ring yet. He opened the chamber of secrets the following year.

  • I bet u Tom used liquid luck lol

  • One of the best done scenes in the whole series, the suspense and the mood are so creepy, so fitting for Tom's character! A lot of people said that they didn't like this movie, but I loved it!

  • Another question ..why did he want to go to slughorn so badly? Does slughorn have a horcrux? And if so did Tom know about it?

  • @lilchantel338 this is where they find out about the horcruxes, before they don't know how voldie is immortal, here they find out he's using horcruxes, and slughorn told him about them, and he's ashamed so he tampered with his memory and pretended like it didnt happen, here he gives them the memory and they find out, and no, no one he doesn't have one, sluggie's a good man/

  • So since slughorn tells riddle that he already knows the answer to splitting one soul does that mean that riddle already killed Moaning Myrtle and slughorn knew? Did riddle already kill his father and made the ring a horcrux? Or was he planning to make the ring his next horcrux if he could indeed split his soul more than twice since he already killed Myrtle .he touches the ring a lot in this video

  • @lilchantel338 He hadnt yet.

    But he was going to...

  • @lilchantel338 I don't think he's killed Myrtle yet but he might have already done his dad for the ring, and was trying to find out if he could split his soul again. Could be wrong though, it's been a while since I've read the books.

  • I wish they showed those flashbacks about how he gathers the horcruxes, and maybe about the Gaunt family, but oh well. The actor playing Tom Riddle portrayed his sinister wit quite well. Good show! :D

  • I can understand what the Grey Lady meant about TOm Riddle being "charming, convincing, and understanding" That boy had that creepy charm to him, but for some reason, he became an old goof as Voldemort XD

  • Yeah I wouldn't deny him is he asked me something...too much charm >.<

  • @zeldamaniac456 What's the point of getting into the top comments? I don't remember getting a prize. xD

  • i want to see if i could get into the top comments....hmmmmm??......ummm..hi?

  • @zeldamaniac456 you get into the top comments for people liking your comments, not asking for people's likes.

  • I'd like to find the part before, where Slughorn gives the memory and sighs...

One of my favorite parts (both in the books and movies)

  • Has anyone ever heard, or read, an explanation for the size of the piece of soul in each horcrux? For example, was half of Voldemort's soul deposited in the first horcrux, leaving half of it in his body, and then half of what remained went into the second horcrux, and so on and so forth into the subsequent horcruxes? If so, does that mean that the older horcruxes are harder to destroy? Would they be stronger anchors to the mortal world? Or would a similar piece of soul be lost for each murder?

  • he sounds way hotter in the books. this guy is charismatic, but yknow...gotta have the looks.

  • Harry Potter was awesome. witnessed it on watchharrypotter.us.

  • did anyone notice the shadow passing through the video at 3:05 ?

  • even tho he;s evil..tom riddle is one sexy beast! <3 ...why did he have to end up..pale, bald and no nose? i mean seriously?

  • It was from the amount of times he had spilt his soul and so on plus the fact he has taken so many poisons and was nearly destroyed when he tired to kill Harry and the spell backfired on him it makes sence why he become what he was and why he looked how he is when hes an older man.

  • @charlieiscool1000 But when the killing curse rebounded on him the first time and it pretty much fucked him up, he was just a soul, then he latched onto quirell in the first movie/book but then harry killed quirell because quirell touched him. In the fourth one though, the body he had wasn't his, I read somewhere it was created in a ritual so it would be the body he used when he did the ritual in the goblet of fire with like harry's blood and stuff. So yea, his body wasn't his later

  • @movieluv1980 i agree, bogrod the goblin looks hot in comparison! lol im kidding. why are all the dark witches and wizards sexy but voldemort is ugly?

  • Voldemort is so cool. Swear to god.

  • SLUGHORN: This is all hypothetical, isn't it, Tom? All academic?

TOM RIDDLE: *turns around* Of course sir *dark sarcasm*...it'll be our little secret.

    ^boss right there

  • omg i'm hanging on tom's every word -- his voicee...!

  • So creepy!

  • 3:03

    lol pirated movie

  • I want a book or a movie , which will be all about Tom Riddles life and how he became Voldemort

  • @Linksmilk13 Ooh I know! I think the Tom Riddle memories were the most interesting parts of the sixth book...it'd be so fascinating to see how he became what he was.

  • @Linksmilk13 Maybe via Pottermore! :D

  • @Linksmilk1There will a prequel book coming out, about 800 pages, but it's more around the Marauders.

  • @Linksmilk13 That would be genius.

  • Can people stop advertising this bullshit about the new film being leaked, you absolute cunts. Also, I find this clip brilliant.

  • it'll be our little secret.

  • He's creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepyy his eye movement and voice modulation...CREEEEPYY

  • if Tom had ever attempted to pull his soul together he'd have died in the process, as the pain of feeling remorse would have been so great that it would've destroyed him, something which he is thoroughly afraid of, making it impossible for him to save himself from the very beginning.

  • @Regenmacher175 As A Matter Of Fact I Think Dying Instead Of Suffering Eternal Agonizing Pain(like in the king cross-like, the form the piece of voldermort's took, the baby agonizing) Would Be Far More Preferable, Don't You think???

  • @MissBlossom01 yeah i mean he didn't have the biggest part as portraying "younger voldermort" but atlest he was in it! he shoulda' been there(:

  • he shoulda kept his hair the way it REALLY looks. now that would be funny bwhahaha. id watch it over and over and over again.

  • @MissBlossom01 :P me too!

  • voldemort is fucking sexy and that sounded so wrong.

  • damn looks like tom scared the shit out of slughorn. and @somethingwitty93 it is wierd being attracted to voldemort

  • Why do I love it so much when he says Horcrux?

  • 3:50 dude passing?

  • I love you Tom.

  • i love how dark and eerie this scene is and the music makes it so much better

  • When Harry sees the converstation between Tom Riddle and that professor (forgot his name) about that restricted zone in the library why does Dumbledore say "I never imagined this" after they finished watching it?

  • @Supreme379 That is basically because he has never felt the need to use dark magic and it seems that him like most wizards and witches have all but forgotten about the power of dark magic. It's also probably illegal to study the dark arts and the library's restricted section is full of book that must never be read. So he had probably never read anything about Horcrux only hearing about it in passing.

  • ahhh his voice is so sexxxyyyy.. mmmm...

  • Oh my god that head stretching thing! It returns! I was always freaked out by it,and loved it at the same time...It was like that little connection between Harry and Voldemort...And when Dumbledore says "And I think perhaps I may have found another" I get a feeling that he just found out that Harry is a horcrux too... *Chills" So cool and creepy at the same time....

  • I dont understand something: in this scene Tom was supposed to be a sixth year too? aren't they supposed to be prohibited to be in the restricted section until they are seventh years? or prefects would aloud to be in that section? because tom was a prefect wasnt he?

  • @luibros

a teacher can giver permission to visit the section

  • I really love Dark Lord.....

  • so the book kept part of tom riddle? so he could not die?

  • @bubblegum1wannabe Well, the book (more like Voldemort's diary) was only one of the horcruxs..As the professor said, one splits one soul and hides it in an object should one be attacked and killed..they never completely die, as long as there is a horcrux there to conceal the remainder of their soul..Voldemort had seven total, and yes, the diary was one of them..

  • This may be the most amazing scene in the entire Harry Potter Series!

  • What were the seven?

    The snake

    The diary

    The ring

    Harry

    What others?

  • @FizzyDizzyJJ =SPOILER, KINDA. WELL NOT REALLY. OKAY YEAH IT KINDA IS.= Nagini (his snake), A golden cup of Helga Hufflepuff, and the Diadem (which is like a tiara) that was Rowena Ravenclaw's.

  • Hufflepuf's cup

    Marvolo's ring

    Slytherin's locket

and of course, TOM RIDDLE himself !!!!

  • @FizzyDizzyJJ

    The hufflepuff cup

    The Diadem

And the the Horcrux locket are the others.
