  • Ip man

  • That martial arts that Donnie Yen are using look like a combination of Judo and Sanda.

  • @martialartsman627 its sanshou :)

  • @martialartsman627 Actually looks a lot like Choi li fut.

  • Best MMA fight shot...ever!

  • Come on Donnie! Use your fucking Wing Chun.

  • @Chrislouie11 he didn't know Wing Chun at the time. this movie came out in 2007, he learned Wing Chun a year later

  • Comment removed

  • probably my favorite donnie yen fight scene next to KillZone

  • godddddd dammmn , knocked da shit outta him 7:12

  • i've never had so much testosterone flowing through my veins. my balls dropped, for the SECOND TIME watching this

  • I love the spinning load-up before punching XD

  • such a great fight between these two

  • try watch 'The Raid'.

  • Fight scenes like this are the inevitable result of a more educated audience. How many were thinking, "wait, how did he get out of that arm bar?" Still, so bad ass!

  • Now this is a fight scene. This movie was epic, especially the last 20 minutes.

  • Donnie is way to old to compete in mma, hes almost 50! if only he was like 20 years younger. plus i'm sure he makes a lot more money making movies

  • I wish every conflict between men would be resolved with hand-to-hand fighting.

  • By far the best realistic fight scene EVER!!!

  • @Allspark82 If you think this fight was realistic you have a lot of growing up to do.

  • @xzilez21 well, as far as movie fight scenes, in my opinion, I think Asian movies have come along way from wires and cables and shit. To me it's realistic in comparison...i dont give a shit who agrees and who doesn't.....

  • @Allspark82

Come a long way from wires? They been creaming out grounded or plausible fight scenes for very long too.

  • @xzilez21 Shut the fuck up, moron. "These fights arent realistic!" No shit, genius, thats why its in an action movie. Thats why these kind of movies are fun. You're not shedding some kind of light of inisight on what we're seeing, we know its impossible, its still cool. Shut up and stop trying to ruin it, dick.

  • @xzilez21 look up the word "realistic" ... it doesn't mean it's real. Start using a dictionary kid.

  • @Allspark82 You guys are fucking retarded. I know this just a movie but it being realistic it's not. That fall alone would have knocked them out or injuried them to the point where they couldn't fight anymore. That's not realistic!!! You guys probably think street fighting is the same as fighting in the UFC or boxing is too. LMAO!!! Get in a real fight and see how it plays out. Even a professional boxer once said "Anyone who tries to box in a street fight is going to get their ass whipped." lol

  • @xzilez21 First of all fool, no one is comparing this to a fight that you see in a street fight, it's a "MOVIE" fight scene, genius and compared to a lot of previous Asian cinema, it is by far one of the most realistic scenes out there, especially when compared to a Jet li movie and all those fucking cables and flying and shit....dont get all butt hurt and start pulling out your tampon when someone expresses their opinion and it doesn't matches yours....Grow up!!!

  • @Allspark82 that comment wasn't directed toward you. It was directed for all the other people who got butt hurt over my last comment. It's those that need to grow the hell up. You choose the word realistic. I think it was a bad choice of words. You should have said "It was a step up from all that flying crap." which is 100 percent true. I don't have a problem with you. I have a problem with the other fuckers on this board who got butt hurt when I said it wasn't realistic.

  • @xzilez21 oh damn, my bad!!! disregard last message...

  • @xzilez21 U honestly think the punches and kicks in wwe are real? Seriously a 12yr knows better. wwe is the fakest bullshit, get over it. It's not just 'staged' but scripted, rehearsed and utterly homo.

  • @ShaolinSai Looks No dumbass. Look up the meaning of staged. I know the shit isn't real and I think I stated it in my response. It's still entertaining. Wrestling is not real or fake... it's STAGED. Why do you think those entertainers get seriously injuried? Their staged performance went wrong! Ask Wade barret and look at his broken arm if you don't believe me from this past raw.

  • @xzilez21 Jackie chan broken a shitload of bones too. Those wwe stunts aren't nearly half as dangerous so big freaking deal of Wade Barret's broken arm.

  • Mom, could this wait? I'm fighting Donnie Yen.

  • when donnie yen takes off the jacket thats when you should run

  • I like that his face was purple during the RNC.. director did his homework

  • wish i could see something this amazing in mma

  • Take down defense 4.11

  • Only part I didn't like was Donnie winding up his arm. Looked pretty stupid.

  • @wardishy That was a homage to Sugar Ray Leonard.

  • @wardishy This comment is pretty stupid.

  • this is always be the illest Donnie yen fight scene!! illnessss

  • 07:34 Ultimate troll face !

  • Comment removed

  • he doesn't kill him in case you were wondering

  • good pisan..

  • He could've tapped out at 0:44

  • @flints This is a street fight - no tapping out.

  • Donnie Yen used some serious Judo in this movie and Sha po Lang - aka Killzone. Judo is good!

  • @lobofaca707 And JiuJitsu. Donnie is a Purple Belt in BJJ, and i know he has a belt in Judo, but i'm not sure which one.

  • Donnie Yen is the man.

  • Never i can see such fight in the west!!!Only asians make the daring hand to hand fight...LOL

  • LOL he got armbared, kneebared, triangled, and i forget what the one where he breaks his acl is called but wtf hahahah he still runs

  • @Xerothe0th Half heel hook

  • @Xerothe0th Heel Hook

  • asian WWE right here

  • Donnie Yens Flashpoint is the Ultimate Martial Arts Movie

  • This is the ultimate fight scene man

  • He forgot to grab the leg when he had the triangle locked in ......

  • perfect

  • That was like watching the live action version of a round of tekken.

  • Pretty sure the villain got knocked mentally retarded later on in the fight.

  • very nice fight

  • @ BlackValkyrie and Xibang. I agree with u both. this is a spectacular fight scene and I am amazed at how they were able to incorporate MMA techniques into this fight. i wish hollywood could make a good quality movie with fights like this in it but chances are they wont. ive seen donnie and colin in other movies like blade II with donnie and matrix 2 with colin, but i did not know that they could get down like this. Damn. so along with tony jaa and lateef crowder these guys are tha shit!

  • 1:21 to 1:27 :)

  • So did he die

  • as much as I love the sequence as a whole because I do this is probably one of my favorite all time fight sequences in a martial arts film. i honestly really love the part where his mother breaks up the action with a really sad touching moment of senility. thats my favorite part of the scene. gets u to feel sorry for this sadistic bastard within a minute, u still want donnie yen to kick his ass though. but u feel bad for the guy.

  • @CommanderYuan Donnie could've hooked Colin's left leg with his arm for a VERY easy sweep (counters powerbombs VERY easily)

Why didn't he? Because if he did, we wouldn't get to watch that really awesome stunt that follows

  • @ProtohTypX Oh CRAP you're right! I went over that in BJJ practice earlier, careless of me not to spot that. I think that'd be freakin cool if he tried another chain submission after looping his arm around his leg.

  • Still gotta say.... the best hand to hand martial arts fight in any film to date!!! Sorry Bruce!

  • The guy from Blade II (snow man) is beating the shit out the guy from Matrix (seraph) LOL....

So yeah... those are the best they can get in Hollywood, considering that playing (Seraph) is THE shit... What a wast of talent.

  • Donnie Yen might very well be the smoothest asian since Bruce

  • They really had to fight at some points to create this. Real impact XD

  • Comment removed

  • The don't ever learn, DON'T WEAR A JACKET IN A FIGHT. BITCH xD

  • 5 people got whooped by Donnie Yen.

  • Comment removed

  • Anyone know the martial that Donnie Yen fight in this film

  • @tinnguyen39 Integrated kung fu; taekwondo and BJJ by the looks of things

  • Awesome fight

  • Does anyone know the name of that hold Donnie Yen used on that guys leg?

  • Was the guy in white using muay thai?

  • @Waveking95 no

  • @bigdragon680 which comment did you reply to since I posted two comments

  • @bigdragon680 muay thai question

  • my body instinctively cringed up tighter than a gators jaw when he threw on that heel hook.

    Goddamn heel hooks...

  • Was over once the heel hook was cranked

Friggin heel hooks, hate those things

  • lol those triangle slams are soo ridiculous

  • 6:00

    dat heel hook

  • Nice fight, but some pretty poor ground technique by Donnie, especially the final choke. Never cross your feet when you've got someones back unless you want them to break your knee. Great fight otherwise.

  • @disasstah

I think somebody on Sherdog (where I saw this) said that in the extras he mentioned how he shouldn't have crossed them ankles.

  • @ThatOGDon Where was this posted on Sherdog?

  • @disasstah

It was in the grappling forum

    the thread is titled:

    Movie scene involving grappling !!!

  • This is just incredible. And to think I thought Ip Man was insane with Ip Man vs 10 Black Belts

  • Donnie yen should enter UFC

  • @ImBeowolf I think he said he would've if it wasn't for his shoulder injury. Too bad he's getting old now. If he did, we would've gotten a better idea of how Bruce Lee would've dominated those tournaments..

  • Donnie Yen could kill two stones with one bird.

  • You know, Donnie Yen choreographs some amazing fights, 90% of them easily far better than the terrible repetitive shaky cam scenes in hollywood movies. Yen's fights always look more brutal and gritty than Jackie Chan or Jet Li's, but I kind of miss the other style of back and forths between opponents. Donnie has a habit of letting an opponent get some good shots in in the first minute or two, and then dominating and abusing them for like 5min.

Was cool in Ip Man though.

  • In the movie there is no women. And Donnie invites Colin to continue fight after the fall, not Colin. Different versions?

  • Best fight scene from the movie....

  • The bit where the mother comes in wasn't in my copy- strange.

  • Tony smiling then getting up & tryin to haul ass limping away is fuckin priceless I laugh everytime I see it XD.....

Also these fights now adays are getting to be so realistic that ya gotta wonder how much of it is actually faked......Even Bruce Lee had a few REAL full on brawls in some of his movies because there was someone who didn't like him & actually challenged him.

  • @IcyOne4884 Where the hell did you hear that? Thats bullshit.

  • @IcyOne4884 Is that true or was that just from the film Dragon:The Bruce Lee story?

  • @theonemattock It was true, but he fought more when he was young before he learned martial arts. When he was older to signify a challenge they'd tap their foot. Jackie Chan is one of the people who challenged him on the set of Enter The Dragon. But all of the real fights that Bruce was in were never recorded due mostly to lack of Camera phones in the 1970's lol. Also at the time Bruce's fight scenes were so realistic that some of them almost turned into real fights had the director not said cut.

  • @IcyOne4884 lolx what the triads had secret satellite cameras in space recording his fights you just have to be a zillion-are to see some of Bruce's real street fight lolx.......

  • @IcyOne4884 Lol. Why are you pulling "facts" out of your ass. There was no lack of cameras in Bruce's days and he was an actor first, martial artist second, and not much of a fighter. Get your facts straight.

  • girls girls you are both pretty ok !

  • The amazing part of this fight is the fact that they're both fighting with their jackets on and still manage to deliver those hits quite effectively even though this is just a movie you gotta wonder what kind of training both of these guys do.

  • so fucking epic, ground fighting and his stand up complement each other well in this one its so sick asssssss fuck

  • best mma movie ever made. can u tell me an mma movie better than this? na i guess you couldn't lols.

  • @TheJeffum undisputed 2 and 3... it's more on the movie side more... flashpoint is the best ever made. it's utilize what's need only, unlike some movie, they just want to show off stunts that's not necessary for a fight... you get me?

  • @Philawockeez Agreed

  • @TheJeffum yeah kinda like ... ONG bak idon't know if you like it or not, but to me it's stupid. I know tony jaa can fight, but all the flips and shit they do in the movie... it's not necessary, n it just look stupid

  • @Philawockeez about that movie. there is one seen that was nice. the one with no cuts for like 10 mins wwhile hes going through waves of enemies up some long stair. that one was pretty epic and looked really hard to do. to top that off there couldve been more than one take lol.

  • @TheJeffum yeah that scene was pretty cool. but the end scene in that movie where he just brakes all the bones of enemies... it's stupid, they come in 1 after another just to their bones broken. it's just unreal.

  • @Philawockeez i agree on the end scene from the protector also it was cool but way too unrealistic but most movies with scenes like that are always the same hundreds of enemies and only 2 or 3 fight at a time but tony jaa is an awesome martial artist and stuntman

  • @Venomwolf90 yup... I have no doubts tony jaa can fight xD, n he's an amazing stuntman... but his movie is stupid, they need serious choreograph. my only favorite was 2/3 of the protector, some of the scene is stupid still... n his Ong-bak 2-3... OMG, ong bak 1 was good n funny. don't get me wrong, tony jaa can fight, no shit, but his movies sucks

  • chinese movies have the best fight scenes ever!

  • très belle chorégraphie ! superbes combats

  • epic fight between two great martial artists.

  • Man, this is one crazy fight scene. It hurts just watching this video

  • I love the part Donnie Snipe the guy in mid air I laugh so hard I shit bricks.

  • This is the best fight i have ever seen in a movie =P

  • how does tomato sauce leak from his nose? :P

  • awsome

  • Collin Chou is the same fella that got blind whipped by Jet Li in that Bodyguard movie right?

  • @pigpit11 he was also in the matrix reloaded and revolution.

  • American action film directors please take note - this is what a fight scene should look like - you feel every impact, punch, kick, knee, elbow - everything. No cut away editing, no stupid fast editing so you can't see what's going on, no shaky cameras, no bullshit. just pure awesome. It does't matter that they're 2 of the most talented martial artists ever, if you're making a fight scene, make it right!

  • @BlackValkyire awesomely said m8, they always use jump cuts in the fight scenes so you can't truly see whats going on, no real kicks ass martial arts techniques are used because american film directors often don't no shit about martial arts and therefore should get learning some themselves ;) a bit of ju jitsu and standard kung fu wouldn't do any harm ...

  • @jujitsuart Well even if they did, it's really up to the actor to deliver and a lot of people who go to school for film/acting (not all, I've been lucky enough to meet a few who aren't) tend to be really more squeamish about pain/potential injury since it's not their thing.

  • @BlackValkyire Yea its a good fight scene, but dont get carried away and call these guys two of the best martial artists.

  • @BlackValkyire They know. They aren't capable of doing it though. Nobody would get hurt to this level to do this in the States.

Xing Yu, the guy who Donnie Yen suplexes in the movie, bled from his ear from the blunt force trauma.

  • @BlackValkyire

way better than all that over the top fake CGI shit in things like the matrix... only works in oldstyle kung fu fims cos they dont over do it... but i agree with you Valkyrie this scene was amazing!!!

  • @marcelo06 They used to do action films properly - and there's a few examples of western action that has alot of great fight scenes - some old schwarzenager, van damme, and stallone films, Equilibrium had a great one that I remember, and of course the french film Transporter and its American Sequel Transporter 2 had some good ones...im sure you can think of a few but mainly its like the new star trek film, just a big tease!

  • THE 5 DISLIKES ARE INDIANS FROM THE INDIAN MOVIE "DABANGG" !!!

SEE THE LAST FIGHT SCENE FROM THE MOVIE, INDIANS TRYIN TO COPY THE SAME THING ,,,,,,,, FUNNY THING IS THE MOVIE WON AN AWARD IN INDIA......!!!

    CHEERS...

  • When they fell from the top...they both lost 1 life. Re-spawned again in the bottom.

I don't think I've EVER rewind a martial art movie, 4 times in a row, some of those moves were OMG EPIC.

  • Seraph!!

  • donnie yen has the most amazing speed ever and when hes pissed of he wont

give the other person a chance

colin is also great and a great fighter he is in ong bak 1 film tony jaa

  • 100 marks to collin chou.Because 1st time i have seen that donnie is badly beaten.

@4.28 what a solid kick by CC.I admit DY's skill ,But CC is a tough opponent for him.

As well as final round is not a justice.its just like donnie showing his fighting skill,

where CC is not able to give him single punch or kick .how's it possible.

    Can anybody pls explain.

  • @deepakalwayshere cause its a movie.

  • Three things:

    Muay Thai*

    Judo

    and Brazilian JJ

  • who would of dislike this? What a bunch of dumbass. hahaha

  • If Donnie Yen was using Wing Chun during all of the fights, everyone would have been fucked beyond belief.

  • Donnie Yen is my favorite, but after this fight I want to watch Collin Chou's other movies too.

  • @MartialManners Watch Reloaded and Revolutions. He's in both :)

  • at 6:55 donnie is like "that was just the warm up get up motherfucker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • BEST FIGHT SCEENE EVER !

  • With that armbar submission Donnie did, Donnie should of lifted his hip the fight would of been over. Or when Donnie got Collin in a trianlge and Collin stood up, should of transition into a standing armbar. But got fight!

  • Heh, I'm actually enjoying this. This is a really good fight to watch.

  • Many of you guys talk like you know how to fight like these guys, when I bet most of you guys are either shit cunt brawlers or just talking shit based on your google research.

  • Probably the best and most dynamic dramatization of MMA or BJJ techniques in any movie up til now

  • 6:55 THE JACKETS CAME OFF! SHIT JUST GOT REAL!

  • this rocked

  • Rihgt, I'm not sure but I think, I think... these guys wan't to kill each other...

  • 0:35-0:38 what was that?:D

  • @darrenw1996 :) what do you mean? It was some hits on the head with the knee

  • @darrenw1996 asn ass kickin:)

  • in case anyone doesn't know, collin chou was Seraph in the Matrix

  • holy shit. Liu Kang vs Kung Lao.

  • cool deleted scene

  • Awesome movie awesome fight scene

  • I swear, I do MMA classes, and Donnie Yen is doing the same moves that I am taught.

  • 6:54 if Donnie Yen ever takes his jacket in front of you, you are finished

  • how could you dislike this fight scene? 4 people are retarded..

  • @rpaul247 Lol... 4 people a christians :D

  • Hollywood needs to wake up and release this and Ip man 1, the guys a star dont even got to type in his last name youtube automatic shit knows about him why not hollywood this was the best cop movie i have seen in a longtime and Ip man 1 is a f*)& masterpiece good acting ,writing martial arts, romance, and war ...at least top 10 kung fu of all time maybe #1 and thats saying alot cuz i like the old school kung fu stars..

  • @boris35773 Ever since hollywood under played him in that fight between him and Chan, Donnie Yen hasn't come back to hollywood since.

  • @Ioini i don't think it's about that. Donnie has moved on to cash in on Mainland China, where the big money is at right now. part of that move is to start taking ALOT of roles that carry a historical and nationalistic undertone - you know, stuff which Chinese audiences love the most. In fact, iirc Flash Point is so far Donnie's last film set in modern hong kong.
