  • @destructicon500 짜장면 is actually 炸酱面.. This three words is actually similar.. Origin of Korean is Chinese, and that's why it's sounds so similar.. :)

  • Hmm i am so hungry right now wished you could have given me a bite. JjangJjang Min looks so good. Wished that had restaurants in America that specializes in some of the simpler Korean dishes.

  • SHARE SHARE I LOVE NOODLES AND ASIANS !

  • i don't know if you've make a video about it, but i would like to know more about Ramyeon.

and one more thing. i like to see raining, but i don't know if it's raining there... if it's raining would you then make a video for it? or else, just make a video about the weather ^_^ thank you :) Kamsahamnida!

  • You don't like noodles?! O_O. If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be noodles. Noodle soup, wonton noodle soup, chicken noodle, jja jang myeon, spaghetti, stir fry noodles, lo mein.... oh my goodness the list is endless!

  • Oooo im so hungry now!!!

  • I like most kinds of noodles.

    My favorite is jja-jang-myeon

    I don't like Naengmyeon

  • jja jang myeon is so masarap (tasty).

  • why the google jacket? do you work with google now?

  • @DOTQWERTY218 YouTube is a part of Google, and if you are partners with YouTube (as I believe Hyun Woo Oppa is), you get invited to partner events at Google offices. So that's probably where he got the Google jacket from.

  • @DOTQWERTY218 I was wondering the same thing. It's a very nice hoodie.

  • I got such a whim con kal guk su :L I don't even know how does it taste but looks yummy~! straight to my must eat list :) thanks for the video

  • I'm very curious with Jja-jang-meon. It's always featured in korean dramas and the actors/actresses eat it with gusto. It's definitely one in my "to eat" list when I visit South Korea.

  • so the jja-jang-myeon noodles apperently are black bean paste noddles.. so i was looking for the recipe and i saw it.. looks so easy but then i cant get the paste or those noodles....... but just by watching that person make it made me so hungry and now you You ,made me more hungry T_T wahhhhhhhh i need some paste T_T my town doesnt have any maybe when i go to seattle in a year T_T wahhhhh anyways all looked so good!!!
  • ahh... I forgot to mention that it can be done if cooked at home. Restaurants will make it with pork.

  • Some info for readers - My mother makes jjajangmyoen with beef and it is delicious, so it can be done. For those who are vegaterians or vegans, jjajangmyeon can be made with heavy olive oil.

  • Personally, I don't enjoy doing the work and mixing the jjajangmyeon sauce with the noodles. I don't put much effort into it so I always end up with a lot of sauce at the bottom.

My other favorite noodles are jjampong. I love spicy food. There's this one restaurant here in NYC that serves both jjampong and jjajangmyeon side by side just like they do in Korea. It's the best thing ever and it only costs about $10 (cheap for the US).

  • what is the sauce made of?

  • I really want to go to Korea, I'm just having a hard time finding anything about food a vegan can eat! I really want to try proper Korean dishes...just with my diet, i'm not sure that's gonna be possible.

  • My mouth is watering. Believe it or not, I've never had Korean food. I think I need to find out if there are any Korean restaurants in Buenos Aires!

  • @getreallanguage ever had soy sauce? double that 100 times in everything..there you got yourself "korean" food..

  • OMG I AM SOOOOOOOO HUNGRY RIGHT NOT >:'(

  • yaaa thats look REALLY good!! its so cold now in Belgium, I wanna have one of that kalguksu, but dayum, the jjajangmyun really got me!! is there any website to learn how to make that mouth-watering sauce??

  • @que33nb33 Yes there is YouTube. Several videos posted showing how to make it.

  • @powerplantop really?? can you give me a link?? thanks yo! :)

  • @que33nb33 YT will not let me post links but do a search for jja-jang-myun

  • I love jjajangmyeon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally had it in Korea a few years back =']

  • I tasted jja-jang-myeon when I went to Barcelona, wow it´s really tasted, I want to eat it again, thanks for this video, I don´t know how was the name of that noodles

  • I love rice noodles! Especially with a glass of Singha beer! (It's a Thai beer that I really recommend!)

    Egg noodles are also yummy!

  • oppa ! i have a question .. is there any food with no pork ? since i cant eat pork :/

  • My Dog, you really managed to make me hungry. Like.. really. Damnit, now I need to go and eat something xDD

And I will definitely eat those types of noodles when I go to korea next summer! Thank you for sharing! <3

  • It looks so yummy!!!

  • Do I like noodles pffft........what kind of question is that!!

Of course i like noodles, even the instant ones, they have provided me with a quick meal when i couldn't be bothered cooking or packing lunch for work.

  • mmm foood. I like udon and ramen/ u-dong and ramyeon I eat both the pre-packaged one and the ones you make yourself. I had jja jang myeon once but the sauce was too much for me but I'm still open to trying it from different places to see if there is one that I like. I am a fan of pasta and noodles in general!!! I really like the sweet potato glass noodles in soup and yachae when it is cold. I like summer because I can make an excuse it eat nyeungmyeon all the time....yummmmmmm

  • That looks really yummy :D

  • Yes, it made me hungry XD I'm so gonna try both of them when I go to Korea :)

  • This is one thing I can't live with out . I am not even Asian but man noodles is my husband

  • it's 1 am here and u r making me super hungry...lol

i think im gonna go eat 짜장면 or 칼국수 tmr haha

  • can't believe i just watched 30s of someone mixing jja-jang-myeon's sauces when I'M SO HUNGRY THAT WAS CRAZY AAAAAAAHHH CRAVING THAT, NOWWWWWWWW

  • OMG 짜장면 & 칼국수! 맛있겠다! DX 먹고싶어요! 흑...ㅠㅠ

  • I like both !!

  • jja-jang-myeon looks delicious! :D

  • I would so love to eat so jja jang myun. But I heard that mostly the sauce is made with pork, which I can't eat. I wish I could find one made with beef. :)

  • I love jja-jang-myeon, I live in Mexico but here I know where buy it and It's delicious, I hope someday you come in to Mexico. xoxoxo

  • i have no way of telling what that "sauce" is on the jja-jang-myeon noodles.. what is it?

  • @torsk1 It's somewhat sweet and salty black soybean paste with caramelized onion and squash with some bits of pork. There's also seafood variant.

  • @topochijo ahh nice, might have to keep an eye out for that if/when i get myself all the over too korea :)

  • @torsk1 Actually the sauce itself is called "jja-jang" :)

  • @ever4one So myeon means noodles?

  • @samuelboyboy Exactly!

  • @ever4one Similar to Chinese "mien"

  • cute scarf!

  • @tak3abit3 Thanks! :D My mother wove it for me a few years ago XD

  • @ever4one hihihi... that's cute ^_^

  • He made my stomach growl!

  • I don't really like noodles either... they feel so heavy on my stomach >< rice with something is WAY better ^.^black noodles are good ^^ but, shin ramyun is my absolute favorite ^_^

nice video! are japanese type of noodles like udon popular in korea?

  • Thank goodness, one of Toronto's two Korean towns is just down the street from where I live. 10:37pm and I'M OUT THE DOOR!

  • hey, that looks so good. arghhh, i want noodles right now! >A<

  • I love noodles especially Korean noodle. It is the best food. Noodle YUM! : )

  • The first ones are like "soup noodles" in Hong Kong. What's in the sauce in the second one? Also you have something like soba, right? How do you say that?

  • Noodles are not my favorite either, but I do eat them sometimes. I prefer smaller noodles over thick noodles. Those black noodles looked good. What was that sauce? Black bean sauce? Thanks for the vid! :)

  • you can eat zha jiang mian(ja jang myeon) at any Chinese restaurant btw

  • What is in the paste of the jjajangmyeon? I'm a vegetarian and a picky eater so I always have to check ingredients.

  • That looks so good and the kimchi looks good the way I like it thick sauce. What restaurant did you go to would love to visit if I get a chance to go to Korea.

  • 짜장면 looks fantastic.

  • just had my own creation of noodles for dinner. u can serve noodles many different, delicious ways. seeing black noodles made me hungry again. thx.

  • I've eaten 짜장면 during my trip in Korea and really enjoy it - feel full but not bloated after eating it. Haven't tried 칼국수 but that will be on my list of to-dos for my next visit.

  • great..... its 2:40 AM here and im hungry now xD

the black noodles look delicious :)

  • That looks too good... Its a good thing I'm not hungry or I'd be driving aroung looking for some noodles right about now...

  • @pjjijd I love Jang myeon even though I never taste it before. It look so good.

  • I like some noodles, but mostly I like meat. Especially bulkogi.

  • I LOVE NOODLES. i love my home country's Indonesian bakmi goreng, i love the Chinese thin crispy Cantonese-style noodles, I love Korean gan jja jang (same as jja jang myeon but with en egg on top), I love Japanese thick udon noodle soups, I love pad thai from Thailand, I love the Vietnamese phở soups, etc. And I feel blessed to have found great places to enjoy all of them in Canada.

    Peace!

  • NooOOo.. Why do I subject myself to these videos when I'm already hungry as it is haha.. Thanks >:P Looks delicous!!

  • mmmm...I love 짜장면!!!! It is one of my favorite things to get here. Delicious!

  • I like noodles! I've never tried either of the two you mentioned, but the 짜장면 looked delicious. I'm hungry now..

  • I love noodles, too. There are many varieties of noodles here in Japan and ramen (ラーメン) is the noodle of choice for me. If you really like noodles, I highly recommend the Korean documentary on the history of noodles called Noodle Road. I think it was a 6 part documentary series and it was very interesting where the start of noodle came from.

  • I actually have a completely unrelated question haha. You introduced yourself in this video by saying...imnida...something? I'm trying to find a "Hello, my name is" lesson on the site, but I can't find it. Is there one? :) Thanks in advance!

Oh! One more question, what is the Korean word for The Netherlands? :) Thank you so much!

  • @Dottilicious And right as I ask that question, I find the video where self-introductions are explained hahaha. Silly me *blush*

I still don't know the word for The Netherlands though ;)

  • I completely agree with the Jja jang myeong. My friend made some and it was awesome! Thank GOD for Korean friends with awesome cooking skills!

  • 네, 저는 정말 배가 고파요! :( 짜방면 맛있어요! ^^ I had it for the first time, two weeks ago, 정말 맛있어요! The other dish looks good too, never had it. Now, 한국 음식 먹고 싶어요! ㅋㅋㅋㅋ So sad there are no Korean restaurants here *sob* lol 현우씨, can you send me some for Christmas? hehehe yummy video^^ (p.s. was my Korean correct?)

  • @LAislandlife haha I did do it on here too :( lol I meant 짜장면 not 짜방면 the ㅂkey is next to the ㅈkey on my keyboard. Sorry about that ^^

  • YUMMY! (^_^)~

  • I'm not a particularly messy person when it comes to eating but I've never managed to eat jjajangmyeon without staining my blouse or t-shirt... an advice to whoever is interested in tasting jjajangmyeon: avoid at any cost instant noodles for this particular recipe, it always tastes like burnt onion and powder mixed together so please go to the restaurant where it's made with real ingredients or better do it yourself!

  • now I'm hungry TT_TT but it's late at night so I can't eat! THANK YOU :c

  • 짜장면is already on my korean foods to eat list!! I see them on kdramas everywhere. They look sooooo tasty. Now I can add 칼국수 to my list of must haves ^^ - Thank you for this video/

  • ohhhh! Looks yummy!

  • Yeah I am eating noodles right now.

  • Do you have a favorite ramen shop?
