Seeing as how she was interviewing a passionate "Star Trek" fan who spent time in Iraq and seeing as how "Star Trek" fairly often dipped into the politics of war, I'd say that this is a legitimate question. (She asked what the administration could learn from "Star Trek" not from the convention.)

You're right. She did say Star Trek not convention. But, even so, I think we can agree to disagree on her motives. I'm a veteran, too, USAF, and I took her query as a dig, not a question. A 'loaded' question, at that.

There's tons she could have asked. Why that loaded question? Why not, "What can Iraqis learn.." "What can America's enemies learn from our culture by watching Star Trek?" etc. No, I disagree that it was cool. It was loaded. The vet handled it well, too. Hats off to him.

I wanna go to the convention in s sarasota city on may 30th...sadly, i haven't found the borg implants things to attatch it to my face like Seven of Nine has. My first thought was to be a EMH (i got the uniform from Voyager) and though i have the transmiter that allows me to go anywhere (i am a EMH) But i changed my mind and i wanna go as a chief medical engeneer but assimiulated by the borg and then be like seven of nine
