  • oww!! My bowls have relieved themselves. :(

  • Thanks so much. You've given me something to work on with my moog.

  • Jordan Rudess fingered a girl once. She died. RIP.

  • @MakeshiftLifeTV I like you

  • giggles.. awesome!!!!!

  • it sounds like KORG MONOTRON !!

  • LOL JR= THE SEQUENCERRR

  • 3:21 sounds like john's ending guitar sounds on misunderstood

  • I love these official LP´s videos. Jordan teaches you how to HAVE FUN with the synth. This is most important than any technique.

  • tighhht

    fucking jordan rudess ;__;

  • I am considering buying a Little Phatty. does anyone recommend them? worth the 1200 bucks?

  • @Asfasveaer buy an alesis micron first

  • Amazing finger speed! Wow!

  • man just imagine that before technology made shit easier ppl used to be able to play crazy arpeggiators by themselves.....now you just press one note and you're good lol..

technology really robs us of training ourselves to do things ...

  • Thank you, was playing this tonight and sounded great. Resonance half way and sweep the cutoff filter and it sounds pretty good.

  • arpeggiators are for wussies!!! :D

  • 60 SECS IN hes powering down the fabric of time

  • Yeah... when I hear really creative use of filters, it knocks me out.

I think I began getting into actual synthesis on a Casio CZ-101, a Yamaha CS-01 and Yamaha CS-01II.

    This sounds great.

  • perturbado....kkkkkkkkkkk

  • Now I finally know who had R2-D2's voice in Star Wars :)

  • woooowww. that is seriously impressive!! keith emerson himself would be pleased :)

  • I love DT guys for this polite speach! No secrets!

  • The sounds are beautiful. Literally "out-of-this-world" . I'm lovin' it! Great demo Jordan!!

  • wow!!! amazing!!! :))

  • Pink Floyd rocks! Dream Theatre Rocks! :D

  • Just exactly what makes him so awesome that we mortals can't have?

  • "one of the things im showing....is that im completely insane.........but beyond that" hahaha

  • "...and playing some fast notes which would usually be done with a sequencer..."

  • SSSSSei un grande Mr Jordan!!

  • first one is b minor pent, the p.f. one is e minor pent. such a cool lick, takes a bit of running but you can get it down nice n smooooooth. just play it legato or it sounds like poo :P

  • Jordan Rudess- The Human Arpeggiator

  • You're SO right. If I heard this without the video I would swear it was a programmed arpeggio. His accuracy is awe inspiring, yet he remains a very accessible musician who creates very human sounding compositions. He's not a soulless technician when he plays. He should do a solo album of all textured sonic experiments. If anyone can demo a synth's capabilities it's Rudess.

  • Wery nice. Fingering speed is almost inhuman...what model are you?

  • @finnpet "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain."

    He is a Tyrell Corp. Nexus-6 ;)

  • He's completly insane !!!

  • I like how he says that "Dream Theater" covered On the Run when it was just him. Proves that he is a pretty humble guy!

  • 1:07 extreme zoom

  • I was about to say...this sounds a lot like Dark Side of the Moon..

  • I used to have a moog rogue and I was playing along with on the run. I just went off and I kept right with it and I just felt it. Everyone there including myself was freaked. I dont think I could do it again. Normally Im pretty lousy.

  • '' so with this example basically what im showing ... is that IM COMPLETLY INSANE.. ''

    AHAHAHHAHAHAH Jordan is amazing

  • well weird

  • 凄いでですね♪

  • Is he using a delay?

  • Yes, Roland RE-20

  • Comment removed

  • Dude, he literally says that in the other vid.

  • @vontetzianos yes. Roland Space Echo.

  • This thing would be so fun to just mess around with but I doubt I would ever figure out how to use the damn thing.

  • I thought the same but I've bought a voyager which has even more knobs and its surprisingly easy to pick up.

Plus the manual is very comprehensive.

  • Thats, true... i couldnt (and i tried twice!!)

  • Lol, if you can't figure out how Little Phatty works, then you should sell your PSRs of what ever, and just quit.

    No offense though...

  • That's SO awesome!! I want to get a job and buy a Little Phatty! I need a synthesizer!! And a good keyboard! And a microphone! And a computer recording program! Damn. I'm probably gonna have to wait a few years... =P AWESOME EXAMPLE JORDAN!!

  • two thumbs up on getting a job ;-)

  • Shit! As if On The Run can be played live!!! I've only ever been able to do it with a sequencer, this guy's amazing!

  • Oh no! He said the S word, while endorsing Moog synthesizers... :S

  • However, he used it to demo the Little Phatty's power, as he was saying he was using a big modular before but he can do all of that with this tiny machine. I think they let it slide 'cause of that.

  • "So with this example, basically what i'm showing, is that I'm completely insane."

I laughed so fucking hard haha :D

  • lol ya

  • finallement au lieu d'acheter un arpeggiateur je vais acheter un jordan rudess

  • I love them!!!JR rocks!

  • sick..

  • I need to play one of those stoned xD
