  • @gdogvibes1 I'm not a Beatles fan too (actually, I listen to Punk music so...) , but I really like "When I'm sixty-four" from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

  • @AmyJoeRamone

Don't ever make the mistake of missing out on great music because you think you only have to like one genre. ;)

  • @Izdigger5 In fact I'm starting to listen to Beatles now, and Aerosmith too :) It was just to say that I usually listen to a very different kind of music and that it's a bit difficult to change radically genre like I'm doing

  • @AmyJoeRamone those two are the best!

  • this song makes me cry as well, it makes me remember certain moments of my life that were just great

  • this song makes me smile...<3

  • I Cry While i sing this song

  • sounds like reggae in some parts of the lyrics and the music =)

  • I swear I have such problems.I stay up at night thinking way too much, usually about The Beatles, so if I cant "calm my mind" (yeah I know it sounds akward) then I put this or Golden Slumbers on and I pass out. ;D

  • It's a really pretty song.

  • I feel like making an unofficial music video of this song; it starts with a shot of someone lip-syncing the song but there are a lot of crazy camera effects like it looks like I'm walking in a circle loop (ie walking on a small planet shot and in an infinite loop) and it the camera pans out seeing that it's just a simple trick using a hamster wheel and a camera taped to the hamster wheel. It continues by flipping around aimlessly in Space. And you see brilliant colors as you watch the world End.

  • NOTHING'S GONNA CHANGE OUR FRAGILE WORLD . . .

  • "Jai guru deva" in sanskrit (ancient indian language)

means "hail my god"(in this phrase god is perceived as the spiritual guide that resides inside every human)

  • its Sanskrit a anciet language which every other indian language was derived from.....so basically it's Indian....and IT MEANS: "Hail my Mentor"

  • the correct spelling is jai guru dev om..... is the name of maharishi mahes yogi who was the and will be a guru master in transcendental meditation which is a wonderful technique that the beattles took and the song is dedicated to this two masters, the both name are in Sanskrit and coming from the ancient Veda knowledge.

  • jai, guru, dave, om are the gods of hindus....

  • @goven101 They are not gods of hindus and it's not dave.

  • @nutterbudder3000 Im Indian and 'Jai Guru Deva' means Giving Thanks to the Lord Above in Hindi/Sanskrit and this was introduced the beatles when George harrison embraced Indian spiritualism eventually John followed and wrote this song. They actually visited Rishikesh and Himalayas in India but Paul and Ringo Abandonded the faith and Left to England. George and john are the only one who embraced them till the end. It is a fact.

  • @predatorinstincts You are absolutely correct! It's nice to read that somebody knows his stuff. After hearing this song for years, and loving the words, and the melody, I looked up what those words meant, and found exactly your definition. I am currently reading a book called Lennon Revealed and just read about his journey to Rishikesh. Fasinating!

  • @nutterbudder3000 it is hindi / sanskrit. :) It is an expression paying respect to your teacher/ guru

  • @xlexbabiix this language is, I used to remember what it was, something that starts with an S! NOT SPANISH :)) hahaa
