nice images and they were 'born' at about the same time as was I...:) In 1960 I traveled from Prestwick air base to a big city and then by rail to London...it would be grand to know what night train I'd been on...it was steam because when I opened the window, I could sense the soot so I closed it again...I wish I'd have had sense enough to take a foto of that train in the station..but alas...

Thankyou for your comments . When I was small I travelled a very few times on the steam railway , and do wish they were still around . All the Best
