drop a manual transmission and all wheel on the SLK and Evo 8 would get smoke, the evo 8 takes over 6,000 rpm before you drop the clutch for it to hit 60 mph in 4.5 seoconds because if it doesnt it takes the Evo more than 7.5 seconds to 60 mph do to turbo lag , and thats a fact because i had a Mit Evo 8.

@Maurerful I have an SLK 55 (comes standard with the 7 speed auto transmission). This video is bullshit. My SLK can smoke EVOs. I have gotten 4.2 0-60 runs. My SLK has the big Merc V8 that is in a lot of other Mercs and my car is lighter. My car has power no matter what range your in. Thats why I usually smoke EVOs easily because their cars take too long to rev up to get power.

@3geclipse86 You are right. I just overreacted to the difference because as any car guy knows, the slk with that big v8 is just blistering fast. Jeremy Clarkston (on Top Gear) got a tick over 4 seconds 0-60.
