OH and there is the fact that the reason Justin Timberlake is taken seriously as a musician is because he writes and co-produces his songs, can play countless instruments and is a great live performer and dancer. I don't you can really compare Austin from the X Factor to Justin Timberlake.

while I'm personally not impressed that Austin did this session it's rather stupid to compare a young bloke who only starts his musical career to someone who is several years in this business.

But apart from this actually Austin also can play several instruments and right now is preparing his original material. For sure hes involved in writing but also in producing so if you don't know the facts it's better not to talk at all. Check his Globe Hackney videos and you'll understand

You wouldn't know what i'd appreciate, yes I like some of Justins stuff but much of my music taste is rock. My favourite bands are Oasis, Kasabian, The Verve and Kings of Leon (..and no, not KoL cause they're new album is a commercial hit) I spend my time going to gigs and festivals and getting into new music. Just because I like the odd JT song doesn't mean I only appreciate that type of music so please don't tell me what my musical tastes are because I think I have better idea of that than you

You're right, I don't know his stuff just as you didn't know my musical tastes but still thought you'd assume I was a die-hard RnB/Pop fan. I was talking about JT because the person I originally replied to was saying JT gets involved in magazine shoots like this and still has success as a recording artist. I don't have any problems with Austin getting his kit off but I just didn't see the comparison and thats what started this off.
