My team was a Knight, Red Wizard, White Wizard, and Black Wizard and everyone was LV 57 or LV 58. None of my attacks did more than 600 damage with max buffs, and after he used Curaja on himself I actually managed to both Slow and Silence Chaos by SPAMMING THEM BOTH TO HELL XD. (He could still use special attacks, but no White or Black Magics)

He's not immune to status effects, just highly resistant. It took like 50 tries with Slow/Slowra and Silence in the same fight, but it was SO much fun.

when i was young i played this on a real gba then i beat every boss with a warrior ninja blk mage and red mage boy those were the times i would play even when my parents were asleep i know they have a remake but it just can't compare to the original. Also for some reason when i played on a real gba it corrupted my save files PLEASE VOTE THIS UP FOR THE SAKE OF OLD TIMES

am I the only one who used a master monk against chaos? With haste and enough tempers they do more damage then anything I saw in this.

idk i used the default team (and i was lost 90% of the time and when i got to this boss i was at lv. 80), but i heard a team of monks kill him in literally 2 rounds.

@owned2rip Do you mean the guy in Dissidia and in the cover art of the game? He isn't really a story character per se~ Rather he represents the four heroes of the game. This is also part of the reason why they made him nameless in Dissidia

I need some help. I'm on the part where you get the mystic key from the elves and I've already opened all the doors with it. I'm at that Earth Shrine near Cornelia and I can't beat any of the bosses in that cave, like Cerberus. Any help?

the only differences between the psp and the gba version of FF1 is that

1. the gba, yes, has a less loading time than the psp

2. the psp has cheesier 2d graphics of the characters

3. music! definitely the music.

4. they added the respective boss musics for bosses from other FF. may I mention "Clash on the Big Bridge"?

I was so lucky to win with Red Wizard, Black Wizard, Fighter and Master... found a Light Curtain in my inventory that casts NullAll, made his spells suckish while I hasted everyone and used Protera and Invisira :) :)

@Tobimadarauchiha well, acctually the four heros of light are supposed to be all boys, i strongly dissagee beacuse thats sorta sexist. i have a warrior, a R.mage, a theif and a W.mage and i named the theif and the whitemage sarah and julia. and, since you can choose what the characters are i guess the characters are what you think.

so the overall answer is yes, the four heros of light can be either a boy or a girl.

And I still got my ass whooped because he rushes me at the begginning of the battle with Haste and slow and shit. Same with FF2 Emperor.

Chaos is a more general thing than a particular person. Garland is featured in Dissidia as the representative villain, but Chaos is shown as another entity.
