To all the body kit haters, please understand that this a rare Koenig wide body edition. Koenig is a tuner like Saleen taking a stock car and modifying it for power and handeling. The dual snorkal on this car suggests that it was orignally set up with dual turbos. It appears since then the turbos and fuel injection were removed and replaced by carbs. Features were used to inspire the Testarossa.

@Akatsuki2 It is not a fake. Look up Ferrari Koeing 512 BBi and read the history of them. I own an exotic car repair shop and I know what I am talking about. If you were going to build a fake with a real Ferrari Boxer 12, suspesion, kock off spindles and wheels it would be just as cheap to buy a real one. I don't think they are pretty but it is not a fake.

@Akatsuki2 Once again look up the Koeing edition. Koeing is a tuner and used their own components to accomodate the wider wheels as well as other mods. RUF did the same on Porsche's as well as Roush and Saleen did on Mustangs. You own Ferrari but is it a BBi or even a BB? I had a BBi for two years and know that car and engine very well and it is clearly Koeing.

@Akatsuki2 I never owned a Koenig I owned a standard BBi. The engines are the dead give away and a flat 12 is hard to fake in kit car. I spent two years restoring the one I had. I have offered sources for you to see that this is what I said it is but you have failed to show me where you can prove its a fake. It sounds like you have a nice collection. The only Ferrari I own right now is a 308 GTS that I race. Sorry for the typos I wasn't spending too much time on it.

in the 70/90es,the BB bodies (365/512) have never been rated as true beauties even in their mother country,neither Testarossa bodies(Tr,Tr512,512M)were highly appreciated as far as styling is concerned.

Pinifarina did a better job from the 355 on,

being the 348 itself rated by Ferrari traders as an ugly car which had been sold just because of the emblem on its hood...!
