@sirArchitect I actually booked a window seat, 52J, but turned up check-in with 5 mins to spare, due to heavy traffic, and the seats had been given away. We were lucky to have even got on the flight, as by the time we had checked in, check-in had closed. Can't grumble, since VA did their best to get us seats. Glad you enjoyed the video though. Are the seats comfy and what's the legroom like?

@Flybe1996 The seats are actually quite comfortable and the legroom is good on the 747. The A340 has not as much legroom if you're sitting next to the window though.

Glad you liked the video =D The main thing to keep in mind is that unless a shot is particularly interesting and can hold a viewer's attention, keep shots to a maximum of 10 seconds - this will keep viewers interested. I fly this route in upper class like once every 2 months, but now I fly with Emirates or Cathay Pacific both in first class. I dont really like virgin atlantic.

@topgear249 I don't know about Virgin's Upper Class, as I have never been able to travel in it, let alone First Class. It doesn't surprise me that Emirates and Cathay Pacific's First Class is far superior, as they are world class airlines with extremely high standards and are the top airlines in the industry.

Virgin is at the lower end of the market in terms of cabin and service standard. They are cheaper than other airlines and you get what you pay for. Thanks for your comment, Craig

@woody19971906 It was so so. I was unlucky in that my IFE control wasn't working properly. There's a good selection of entertainment on the system and is updated monthly. Have a great flight - done it twice myself! Thanks.

Thanks for uploading this Craig. I am very interested in flying to Hong Kong in the next few months while my other half is more interested in San Fran, neither of which we have covered. I've never travelled on Virgin so this gave me an indication of what they're like. TBH the food looks average and a step down from Asian carriers. I was looking forward to seeing some of the in flight entertainment such as videogames, films, programmes etc available which sadly you did not show :( but thanks

@filthiestfish This was my second time to San Francisco and second time with Virgin Atlantic. VA are a good airline, but as you can see, the food is average and doesn't match up to other airlines. It all comes down to cost. They charge less than other carriers and it shows. When I upload VS008 (LAX - LHR), you'll see a clip of a movie and a tv show. Sorry about that. @19bootsy68 Thank you very much Mark! Yes, the man on the aisle seat next to me was from the Newcastle area, but i've forgotten which one. Yes it is a shame I lost my window seat, but the traffic was bad on the way to the airport and we arrived 5 mins before check-in closed. We made it onto the flight by the skin of our teeth! Glad so many people love the video, even though it is an middle row seat =D

@TheChosenRed Thank you very much! I had booked a window seat, but arrived at the airport 5 mins before the gate closed and had lost my booked seat - 54K. They originally sat us in 75C, but as I would be useless in an emergency, they re-seated us. Glad you liked the video =)

@blythesmile Thank you very much! Yes, the double fold in the tray table is a very good space-saving idea. It has to be double fold due to the in-flight entertainment system taking up a good proportion of the seat.

@RvXKaz Thank you very much Gavin! Detail is my forte, like you. The menu is new to Virgin Atlantic Economy and is quite a nice touch. All an attempt to keep up with other major airlines i.e Emirates. I had booked a window seat, but arrived at the airport 5 mins before the gate closed and had lost my booked seat.
