I remember when she came out, she kept being offered modeling contracts. She rejected them to focus on her music. I though that was great. Now people combine everything (music, modeling, designing) for the money and dont seem to do any of very well.
She looks a bit like Garth from SNL when he did his dance in a catsuit spoofing Madonna's Truth or Dare. Sorry i couldn't find a video clip of it to attach. No offense intended Corinne is a very classy lady but her cat suit dance moves are a bit funny.

It's hard to believe it's been 20 years since this album was released. I kind of feel the same as bjclark1017, S.O.S. is a lot like a secret. They've been a well kept secret and that's the way i like it. I'm glad they never attained massive commercial success. The obvious problem with being too global is that everybody knows who you are. You're everywhere! I'm glad S.O.S never had that problem. All this time later, it's like their still my dirty little secret.

The band is named Swing Out Sister after the name of an Arthur Treacher movie (yes, the Fish & Chips guy!). Andy and Corrinne agreed on the name because they both hated it!

It's hard to believe it's been 20 years since this album was released. I kind of feel the same as bjclark1017, S.O.S. is a lot like a secret. They've been a well kept secret and that's the way i like it. I'm glad they never attained massive commercial success. The obvious problem with being too global is that everybody knows who you are. You're everywhere! I'm glad S.O.S never had that problem. All this time later, it's like their still my dirty little secret.

Well, Im have always liked this group, duo, whatever they are, I just never quite got used to her repetitive hand gestures. Both hands pointing skyward while she looks at the sky, ceiling..whatever. What does it symbolize? Was she raised in a strict religious home or something. If she didn't smile while singing she would look a lot like my grandmother.

There are certainly prettier women in this world. . .and, there are better voices, although not very many. What she brings to the table is an absolutely delightful presence that makes you feel like you know her, and that you share some sort of secret with her that only the two of you are privy to. . .and, listening and watching her is a very special experience--damn, she's good, and I'm old enough to be her father! Swing Out Sister will always remain one of the most stylish groups in the history of music. Just beyond fabulous almost 20 years later. I bought this album in 1988 and I never get sick of hearing this song 20 years later.

Loved SOS and played kaliedoscope world over and over again in My 1st car after just passing my test Corrine is simply gorgeous and todays music isnt a patch on this.
